New Grower ugh... fungus gnats? WTF

make a vinegar trap, simply take a water bottle cut the top of and tape it mouth piece down into the bottle as to form a funnel tape the top to the bottom really good and then fill the bottom with a 1/4 to a 1/2 inch of apple cidre vinegar and ad a few drops of soap to break the surface tension that will deal with the adults works for fruit flys and fungus gnats
That's a good idea too autox!

yeah really simple and in my opinion easier to deal with then yellow sticky traps, however the yellow sticky traps do work very well for this little winged bastards.

In hydro,
I just spray the roots off with H20 and back in to the rez.
Do that a couple of times a day until they are gone or not a problem.
The yellow sticky fly traps are very good as well.
I catch predators all the time and toss them into my grow areas, garden spiders, lady bugs, tree frogs, geckos, lizards, etc..
They all do a pretty good job.

PS one of the spiders grew to be about the size of a US silver dollar. I had to toss her out, as she would scare the shit out of me by running over my foot.

I'm at a loss tetra. I mean I've seen a few flying things here and there, a few stink bugs, even a few large black ants and I'm inside!
There's growth the flowering sites are filling out. I do notice last 2 days a yellowing of some bottom leaves and my ph drops low all the time.
ugh, to have come this far and now bugs?

I've also seen a few flying things here and there in my grow room, I am always high when watering though. Fungus gnats I've got some. They seem very subdued, caught a lot on sticky pads and have put nematodes in soil. Good luck.

Hey gardener!
What kind of worms? I'm in dwc, but like to know anyway.
NRK

Ugh..... just looks parasitic. Beneficial, but parasitic.
I'd like to try a soil grow in a tiny container just for shits and giggles. Been wondering what would be a suitable strain.

Aw grey bear! A bear after my own heart? My kitchen window of herbs was home to a beautiful mama praying mantis for nearly a year! She was just as friendly as could be. She kept them well guarded. I'd bring in goodies for her everyday or the bait store. She left me a wonderful gift before she passed, a lovely egg case. I refrigerated it till spring and then let them hatch and releases them in my back yard. I do love a big fat writing spider! I did have in house anoles in post housing at Ft. Bragg. I love insects and animals! !
