Are these looking healthy for 8 days since going into this soil?? Also I am gonna check for next time if Steve at oregonsonly doesn’t answer phone or can’t help with shipping soil cuz he (local hydro store) had like 4 diff types of soil he makes in house. This 1 just seemed closest to fox farms etc. til I found out about ph after the fact!

Nectar [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] is distributed thru sunshine soil. Your shop will know sunshine, and should be able to get it thru them.

Thanks a bunch everyone!! I sent email to Scott for Monday letting him know I wanted to try soil [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] but feel people trying to rip me off on soil shipping cuz nute sample was $36 for shipping but places I checked wanted $60 a bag just on shipping cost and no way it weighs more than the nutes sample so feel they’re trying to make $$ on soil and shipping cost!! And hopefully the twigs that r in my soil won’t get water logged cuz giving each little plants stem area and lil ring going out to get roots wet is almost totally dry in just 24hrs (give em almost 1/2 bottle water each but not all right at stem) since it’s sitting constant 80 and like 35% humidity til I get moved over to tent.
Was able to add couple drops of apple cider vinegar to a 1/2 gallon of distilled water and got it to 6.2ph last night! Was afraid if tried to drop lower it would drop too low and didn’t wanna add my nasty tap water to it

Good to see a fellow Texan in here. Most nutrient lines will pull your pH down, so being near 7ph at the start isn't usually a big deal. I used to use hydrochloric acid because I always had it around for work and it has nothing in it but hydrogen and chlorine so I didn't have to worry about it borking up my ppm.

Lately my tap water has gotten less alkaline so I usually just add MegaCrop and it comes down to 6.4 or so on its own. I guess the city finally changed out the filters or something.

Ya man I tried to hold out on Tx to do the right thing and make it legal but when they kicked vets off the bill and kept .5% thc cap I lost all faith and said it’s now or never!!
And ya my tap water is over 8.0ph. I had distilled water in a gallon I was using so it was at 7.0 without nutes and only on day 8 from still being in the envelope in my fridge so not quit time for nutes. Got my nftg sample tho for when I can and I know that pulls ph down since only came with Olympus up. Just waiting til time.
Thanks for the advice everyone. Sorry to blazed to tag everyone!!

Edit time** @Arthur or @420Forever I see green lights so I know either of y’all will know this answer! Thanks

@Arthur I am bugging u again but how much water should I give the lil ladies to not overwater?? Seems to be dry in the 5gal smartpots in lil over 24hrs with what I am giving the stem n roots now so don’t want em thirsty or flooded out!
Thanks bud

How much are you giving? The first few days I'll water every day, but like 250 ml. In a 5 gallon container, I would imagine maybe a half a gallon every few days. It can really vary, as environmental conditions can play a big role. Finger to the first knuckle, moist? No water. Dry? Water.
