@420Forever is that a yes on the cfl since u liked the post?? And I poked some holes with my surgical scissors at the base of these for air holes but should I leave these on their?? And if yes for how long??

yes, that was a yes  make sure u poke a lil hole or two in the topz as well, and i meself only do the domez for the first 4-5 dayz ;) ppp

I did it at the bottom of bottle before I cut it... Now is the top since upside down and I didn’t dig the base deep into soil so is some air gaps at the base! Should I still cut a couple holes at the base above soil line?

ya, mebbe jus a couple & in the top as well...for future fyi, the best way to uze water bottlez for domez is to uze the top half, that way, u can "vent" by jus unscrewing the cap ;) ppp

this lazy grower hasnt used a dome in over a year :coffee2: and when i did it was never on for more than 2 days.peeps say a gentle breeze is good for seedlings to strenghten the stem.but how as if a dome the two contradict each other
good luck n keep er lit

What's up @TxRebel:pass:Try and contact Oregon's Constant Gardner and/or Scott to see if they would work with you on shipping for [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] for your next run. I had to drive 2 hrs to Tampa for [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG]. I am having the same issues with PH right now, and I created it when I recycled my [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] soil (I put in OSF, which is making my ph stay near neutral). Are you using FF soil or similar? I noticed a quite a bit of sticks in the soil that will tend to water log and make it difficult for bacterial and fungal mycorrhizae to establish. There are two great pages on FB: Nectar for the Gods Growers and Nectar for Dummies, lots of great info and downloadable files. If you don't already, get yourself some soil microbe inoculants (Supreme Growers, Bigfoot, Cultured Biologix). Soil PH is critical, but I don't slurry until they get well established. I do slurry my soil before I plant. I slurry by taking 1:1 (4Tbsp) soil and water (ph neutral) in a small plastic cup. If you use tap water, take ppm's of ph'd neutral water and subtract that from your final result.

Since I see da green light on @archie gemmill i had no idea this was here since I’m a rental house but would this be where the whole home type RO filter would be?? Just saw it this morning when digging for a trash bag and been here 2 yrs so guessing past time to change is prob why water is super crappy here?? Thanks!

@CaptJonLuc i used a biologic soil from my local hydro shop. They used to carry fox farms til he started mixing his own stuff. I tried pulling out any of those damn sticks that were big than the tiny ones but couldn’t get all those out but did mix a whole small bag of perlite between my 2 5gal smartpots. Hope those sticks don’t give me issues. Any way around em or am I just stuck with them this run and need to be careful?? And thx for the Facebook info on them. Gonna have to make me a Facebook if I need to login to download. Oh ya and this soils ph started at 7.3 but didn’t know til after I transplanted cuz the store owner was outta town in Hawaii

im from the otherside of the world :frowny: but to me that looks like some sort of water conditioner.should there be another pipe conected top left ? can ya get a good read at whats printed on the side ?
:pighug:

edit...there is a nother pipe connected its at a 90 bend.

It has a water line going in and out but no pipe. That’s the sink drain line I believe but in car running to Mc Donald’s right quick but can check when I get home. It’s a 3m filter. Saw that much before was sprayed with water.
