New Grower TxRebel 1st grow Gelato from Fastbuds

2 days into week 6 from transplanting the jiffy! And is that ok for what I took off cuz other 1 has more growth it’s trying to sustain that is just growing into a big overlapped mess in the canopy and it’s keeping it from really growing up and blocking lots of stuff that will prob be budsites so wanted to verify I didn’t take too much??
I know @Arthur said take in few haircuts as possible and someone else said only take a couple leads a day so figured Arthur was prob correct here!! Thx again

In LOS you don’t have to worry about pH, the soil will buffer it. If you’re worried grab yourself some Recharge, it’s a microbial super pack
Main reason was still ph’ing is cuz my tap comes out over 8.0 so don’t wanna give em any reason to not be happy with me

This is only theory from what I've seen. Every time you remove a leaf or undergrowth, the plant pauses and goes WTF was that. If your taking leaves every couple days, the plant cant figure out what to do, replace vegetative growth? Or continue on?
This is why I try and do it as few times as possible. Leaf tuck and ponytailing always first option, especially in veg. I don't want to remove a lot till I see the overall shape of the pant. Maybe one leaf removal in veg. Lowers get cleaned and overall canopy clean up around week 3 of flower. Photos are a little more forgiving here, autos really seem to like being left alone.

You need to pH, running nectar any issues the first thing anyone (including Scott Nectars owner) is gonna ask is... slurry test pH and ppm?

That’s all I was trimming on the 1 was stuff that is totally blocked and growing into underside of canopy with nowhere to go so trimmed it and only did it on 1 cuz I broke a couple of the wimpy lowers lifting em up to water! I guess I’ll make sure 1 I trimmed today continues on well and go from there! Oh and what’s ponytailing?? Have t heard that 1 yet!

That’s what I thought too! Were both 6.6 n 1 was 260 n other was 266ppm today before I watered em! Def taking more since gave same as last time 2L each and got 0 runoff today!

Lol didn't realize there were 59 pages of this thread, and missed Nectar part. Sorry, lit lol. Your plants look good though!
All good man! It started as a thread about a ph question when I got my meter and saw what my tap was since nectar especially til u get into flower is supposed to be ph’d to 6.2-6.4 and had no ph down! Wound up with more visitors than my journal so this 1 morphed into it and got it moved over from q&a forum! Thx tho

This is 1 week in including germination time in the jiffy crap
Use lemon juice for ph down works well and cheap learned that here on AFN also baking soda works well for ph up not sure it plays nice with organic but the lemon juice does.
