Oh ya I do remember the grow journals and even fastbuds was talking about this having really tight node spacing but also said CAN (operative word I am sure or hope) but can get up to 40” so guess cross fingers and hope! Do I need to add lil more perlite next time so doesn’t take 4 days for 1/2 gallon to be dry even to need next feeding? That just seems like aloooong time to me but NEWBIE! LOL Thx
@archie space gemmill Hey how are those air pots or whatever there called doing? When you water, does it come out the sides? Curious I like them but I can see that they could be messy.
Sorry
@TxRebel didn't mean to butt in!
breeder/seedbank write ups estemates and stuff......pinch of salt...as the test growers are usually the best of the best
id recommend most folk assume that they will be somewhere between half and 2/3rds of the numbers.
as for the harvest times, most breeders/seedbanks lie through their teeth...add at least 1 week most times 2 weeks and for some its suck it and see :smoking:
if someone in the tropics v someone in a cold hole (me) cooler climates i think like more airy pots, hot places ya dont want a pot drying out in 6 hours.
my 1st grow had no perlite, and shit soil waterlogged/overwatered = shit time of it.i use biobizz lightmix (think 10% perlite) and add half as much of perlite as soil, and 1 part vermiculite....or 4 parts biobizz 2 parts perlite 1 part vermiculight.
airpots some love em some hate em.......a slight concave to the top of the pot helps.technique is a lil different.pour stop pour stop,ya cant water like a standard pot or ya will get a bit of splash.....but if ya have some saucers to suit its not a problem
i also think plants grow more or quicker when dampish...not wet not dry or moist.just an eejits theory/speculation as a lot of the time i dont talk sense.so pinch of salt with me to please :smoking:
good luck n keep er lit
