thanks guys. its sad that it will be the last harvest in that area. I will be moving all hydro after this setup. might have a few in soil for fun but the only soil grows i plan on after this are mother plants.

Nice Ninja, I have a question about the LED's, as you probably know i run the same as you do the blackstars, in the near future i want to setup one of my tents for photos for a much largers yeild per plant. Will the LED's keep up with a comparable HPS on photos?

lol anyway.... yes hps is going to be better yielding in the end with larger plants so i will be using water-cooled hps in my setup as soon as i get my bulb to start the testing and its on the way shortly since i bought it 2 days ago. once i get that in i will setup the new tent with the water-cooling and will transfer this crop in that tent for now so i can actually store clothes in my own closet and use it for more storage space. I will also house mothers and clones in there for extended periods. my ultimate plan is to incorporate this flip flop switch http://www.greners.com/i/grow-lights/products/light-boxes-controllers/powerbox-flipbox.html to use the one 600w ballast for 2 simultaneous flowering chambers and switching to photo with a 1wk veg tops. i might seriously put together a room with 4 flowering chambers and keep a 5x5 tent in another room just with mothers and clones. looking into vanilla kush so far and it looks promising. with the water-cooling you would need a no flow switch to turn off the light if the water stops flowing.

thanks noods. well honestly im moving on to complete hydro after this so i will be better suited to go to 2 tents and the closet as mother/clone support. im moving around march/april anyway so it will be fun to get things going. if this water-cooling works then i have another i can pick up used for cheap and will snatch it up for when i move and use the flip flop system there. i really would like to run 4 chambers with 2 ballast if i get really good at this. i could potentially pull many lbs at a time at harvest. if i stagger stage two to a halfway point then i could pull around 3-5lbs every 4-5 weeks. i want to run that system nonstop for around 2 years to stockpile and get some things done then ill back off again.

what size chiller & sz res will u be using for that water cooled light?

im using a 55 gal res with no chiller on this setup since its 600w to try out this method. i think i can contain a lot with this setup and if not then ill look at chillers.
