No worries man,the 240 should be a great upgrade on your 150 plus cheaper to run and less heat for sure..I went for the blackstar after seeing t shirts grow and his good words about gothem hydro,they are also using 3w LED chips in there panels compared to most on ebay only using 1w chips,and the price was good as vic gave me a discount on shipping

the 240w will actively replace a 250w HID unit par wise. I am coming up with a bracket so that i can attach 2 to a rail system in my closet. that way i have a light mover throwing out around 500w equivelent of hid over an area of 18 plants. with it running 24/0 I believe that it is possible to get yields as if you had placed them under 18/6 light. Only time will tell though once i actually order the rail and get to work retrofitting it. If it works out well i will go ahead and buy another plus one more 240 unit so that I am in control of 36 plants in flower at all times. I will place germinating seeds all the way to week 3-4 under a 4ft t5ho unit in party cups until the sex is determined then transfered to 2 gallon containers and dropped into the main flowering area once one section is harvested. I really want to pull a harvest every 2 weeks if at all possible. With a new breeding program and this improvement I hope to grip around 4 oz every 2 weeks. If I can manage that then I will branch out to more breeding projects to make my own strain. heat wise they are fine. they throw out a little heat above ambient temp but that's just physics. keep an exhaust fan and your good. In the winter time I didn't need to vent my room I instead placed cfl bulbs to raise the temp and left the tent's inflow and exhaust holes just open for freeflow ventilation..... then they stank up my entire old apt like SUPER REFER. I'm about to water so I might post some pics later today maybe not depending. I have a church convention to go to today and tomorrow so i will be preoccupied somewhat.

your going to love it!!!!! I am debating buying a 240 or just stepping up with a 500w and mounting it alone for the second area so that I can start breeding in the tent with the 240w units..... I think I will keep my costs down and just stick with a 240 and try out the new setup. found out my local hydro shop has the light mover i want but for 30 bucks extra than my usual shop online..... gonna go in and try to work a deal near the end of the day since i buy soooooo much gear through that guy as far as ferts pots and soil.
yah saw that 500w unit to but i think it would prob be overkill for a gl60 u think? gl on rack btw to man.

wow nice to see that you will be running more led than even i do right now. If this light rail works out though i will be rocking 4 led units with 36 ladies chillin at all times.

wow........ just figured out today that one of my sch is not a sch. i forgot that one was supposed to be either a BHD or a Jet47. Well it resembles a BHD to the t............. It is 11 weeks old and I will be flushing the plant for a week so that I can chop it on the forth of July!!!! what a great surprise for the holiday! I figured it out when the name for her fell off of the bottom of the pot. i had taped the names and what they were on the side and hers kinda disappeared so i thought it strongly looked like a SCH since it was so big. At my next watering I will take detailed pictures as it is HUGE. I also just had a breakthrough on the design of the linkage that holds the two led panels both together/apart while being suspended from one track rail. If this works like i think then I will move my remaining 2 sch into the corners of my room, buy another light mover along with a 240w led unit, and start up as many RRF as i have seeds to start. They will only be 1 week behind. I can maintain an even canopy if i get them in dirt within the next 2 weeks. Then I can start a whole new row with all the PJ seeds I have. Then I will get a 4ft 2 bulb t5ho and get that baby cranked up to pop out a new herd of 2-3 week olds to replace the cropped ones. This will vary until I can dial in a true schedule.
