How tall are the Super cali's now? I need someone to breed them smaller for us little space people hehehe.
I'm training mine to stay around 18"-22" so far so good except one took off anyway. Once I dust one with PJ pollen it will help to shorten them up. I am going to pollinate SCH with PJ pollen for 2 generations so I can get that nice yield in a purple/haze package under 2 feet tall. Oh I'm also doing this with some onyx as well.

hey tshirt man those hbd look great. you use the blackstar 240w led light correct? i was thinking about getting one for my space for the next grow because i'm noticing that temps with a 150 hps are a steady 86f, do u think one of those would be better than my 150 hps in a 2x2x5'3

its all going to depend on your ventilation. I use multiple 240w blackstar led units yes. I have 3 240w and a 100w ufo version that is a blackstar as well. I plan on getting another 3 panels within the next year. I just popped back out the old 4'x4'x6.5' secret jardin tent and I remember saying that 2 units with a minimal amount of CFL side lighting would rock that thing, so I see no problem using 1 240w unit as long as you place a few cfl's in there as well. I decided to rearrange my apt so that I could bring out that tent to breed and grow males in. If I can start getting more units up then I might just start a non auto grow in that tent since I have beans ready for that...... I could veg them out in the closet and move them to flower in the tent on a 12/12.

Candy ended up 78.4g wet which should come out to around 19.6g dry.
Alexus was 71.7g wet which should come out to around 17.9 dry.
Grand total was 150.1 wet grams for a total of aprox 37.5g dry.
Both ladies are water curing for the next week then air dry for 2 days then its smoke-able product. I will be marking dry weights on the first post along with running totals since this is a perpetual grow.

Congrats Tshirt! Went back and looked through a lot of pics I've been missing. The ladies kept the bud real compact but never really moved on making more sites. looking great man!

I was thinking, maybe a product like folier spray that induces branching and bushy that you might use from about the second node until flower might help bump your yield? I mean those nugs are nice and tight there just seems to be a lack of nodes on some, I'm sure it's mostly just the breed. Not that you need any help on this, you're probably much more a pro at this than me. I'm always trying to improve anything and everything and that thought just occurred to me looking through your grow.

Yeah they came out a bit lighter on the yields then I thought would happen. I was estimating that I would hit 40-45g dry at least but honestly I think that I learned a lot this go around. When I pulled them both from the soil I noticed that the main root structure was not that intense and honestly was a waste of soil. I now know that the autos really only need 2 gallon smart pots to live in without getting root bound still. The super auto's seem just fine in 3 gallon without appearing root bound since those pots are designed to air prune and circulate the roots back instead of circling. I will be switching to 4-6 2 gallon per 240w panel. I think this time I will lower the led a bit more to tighten up node spacing. BHD was just a unstable strain but decent quality/yield overall. I think LST will be utilized with the Onyx that I just started germinating earlier today. The grow tent was set up today as well so I will be putting males in there with a sheet of glass underneath while they shoot pollen. Then I will pollinate a PJ female a SCH female and an Onyx female. I will then have tons of reg PJ seeds along with PJxSCH and PJxOnyx. I will then grow those out into ladies and then pollinate again resulting in PJxPJxSCH and PJxPJxOnyx. I will also collect some onyx pollen for making more regular onyx seeds. Jim at dope seeds is sending something feminized from short seeds to replace my once again failed flash seeds. I'm now 0/15 on those and 100% on every other bean. Now after that I have no clue what I will try to get into next. I think this will keep me busy for quite some time.

well i use the 4in fan filter combo from htg supply
I run a similar setup so you have more than enough to get the job done there. With that setup your temp should be within 3 degrees of ambient temperature. If your exhaust runs outside the room then it will actually get cooler in there then in your room at the plants level.

Good job man, looks like an excellent smoke! Cant wait for the reports. If it were a couple of days later I would nominate that up close and personal shot of Alexus for BOTM!! Dont know how that works...maybe i still could, she's extra frosty! Always a pleasure to come by and see your ladies.
