Grow Mediums Trouble With Auto pots

This is what my current res looks like, despite being emptied and refilled with a new batch of solution a few days ago. When I get home, I'll dump it again, and refill with a 1/2 strength feed solution, minus the molasses and Epsom salt

That's a great idea. I like my rez to look clearer.
Yeah man, that shit was looking like some primordial stew that I wasn't comfortable with. Hopefully things start to swing back in my favor soon. Meanwhile, my girlies are suffering

Silica is good. It can be super alkaline. So stick to the ratio. And once you start giving it to the girls.....keep giving it to the girls. Ime.
That is a pretty leaf all the same.

I do use Silica Blast by Botanicare, and after refilling my res, sans the molasses and salt, the pH seems stable, and I don't have that foamy, muddy looking solution going on. Any who, I appreciate you guys pointing me in the right direction, and hopefully in a couple days things Will be l turn around

Thanks, Roark. And I'm glad to being active again. 4 a while, I'd just dip in, lurk in the background and read around, then dip out. No posts. I just felt like if I wasn't being active as hell, and posting all the time, I was half assing. I'm just so busy now, but I can't stay away, so I just had to realize that I don't have to do 25 posts a day to still be a part of th [HASHTAG]#afnfam[/HASHTAG].

So, I've never had a fungus gnat, or any type of pest issue... until now. I believe they are fungus gnats. Small black flies that kinda jump around. My question is, how do I get fungus gnats if I'm using Auto Pots?! The top layer of the soil isn't moist, so what gives?
