Hello AFN fam. It's been a while since I've started a thread, iut ivebbeen lurking in the auto pot section for a while, and I decided to jump on the band wagon. Things were fine all through the veg stage, but since bloom, things have gotten tricky, and I'm hoping someone can throw me an assist.

I'm using FFOF soil, with a bottom layer oh hydroton, and Sea Grow flower &bloom and Hawaiian Bud for feed. pH has been swinging from 5.8 up to 6.5, and I'm not liking the light green new leaves and yellowing tips. First thought was Nitro def, but then again...
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

How us root zone. Try and get reliable temperature probe close into soil. I've heard about heat buildup in root zone. Or maybe that's only with air domes.

If PH dropped Mg/Cal will lockout. But 5.7 is what I used to feed at without lockout.

Not sure, I see fly traps do you have fungus nats? If so, roots could be an issue.

Maybe someone else can shed more light.

Cheers

I haven't checked the temp of my root zone, but that is something I will start to look into. The pH has dropped pretty low, mid 4's, but I brought it back up to 5.8. When I first switched to bloom nutes, the pH was dropping into the fours, now it's rising into mid 6! The stickies were just for precaution. I saw a bug or two flying in my tent, and threw them up to be safe, but I haven't spotted any signs of pest problems.

I've been using full strength nutes, at 1tsp per gal of Sea Grow Flower & Bloom, and 1/4 top of Hawaiian Bud. I also add 1/2 TBS each of Agave Nectar and Black Strap Molasses, and a tsp of Epsom Salt.

I really thank you guys for chiming in and offering a hand. That's why this place is what it is; The best

Low PH is Mg/Cal issue since PH under 6.5 in soil will lock them out amongst other elements. Luckily, there are lots of nutes out there, pick one of your choice. I use Boomerang because I use FF nutes. Buget help would be Epson salt at 0.5 tsp gal but check PH since Epson is alkaline. However, other elements locked out are not in Epson, like Boomerang. Therefore, I'd use 1/4 strength grow, or better yet fish and seaweed nutes with Epson which will help keep PH down but still check post mix. Feed till 20% runoff. I fill my plastic tray under pot 1.5 times (shop vac works so you don't need to move plants). This ensures most or all old salts flushed with weak feed. This takes about 3 to 4 days for full recovery and will resume growth.

Cheers

I know I run in coco if it was me I would knock my nute strength in half right across the board are you using any calmag supplement whats the ph when you mix everything together

Hey, I used Sea Grow last season and it doesn't have any calcium in it as I recall. Although I see you're adding molasses and epsom, you might want to add another source of cal.

Not saying this will solve the symptoms you see, but it's something to be mindful of. Some guys here say that Epsom is good for short term fixes but tricky over the long term as it is a salt, and might contribute to salt build up in the medium. May be better to go with a standard Cal mag instead if you've got one. Calcium is an important nutrient for flowering.

Good luck though man, they don't look too far out of whack.
