Hi all :welcome: to my 1st grow journal and what will be my 2nd ever grow. thanks for stopping by. I'm new to growing and to forums and such so I'll do my best to keep you interested.
I currently have 2 nyc diesels at day 49 and although I'm still very green around the gills I learnt quite abit by these girls (mainly what not to do) so hopefully this time around will be done a little more grace and finesse. I hope to learn mountains more by this journal and other grows/growers on here so please fire away with any constructive criticism you may have or if I should be doing it right let me know also.......every days a school day after all

So lets get started,
My girls of choice for the show are 1 NYC DIESEL (advanced seeds) + 1 THC BOMB (bomb)
Grown in 4gal/15ltr pot inCANNA TERRA PRO
My germination method is to fill pots and water with RO + CAL/MAG the previous day and leave the pot in a nice warm area of the grow room. Then I just pop her in and syringe a little more water around her so she's tucked in niceley, cover with cling film then wait..........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz:cools:
Remove cling film and replace with plastic cup of sorts.
For the first couple of weeks they will be spending their days under a 125w CFL while my current diesels finish up.
Then once the first two are finished they will be moving up to take their place under a VIPARSPECTRA 450W REFLECTOR SERIES.
The nutrients im using are the DUTCH PRO Box set that comes with the take root/multi total/explode.
I also use RO WATER + CAL/MAG as I had issues with what I thought could be caclium, magnesium, potassium or ph but after so many trials and so many errors I arrived at sodium build up, (i live on the east coast of england, right by the sea) so the day the filter arrived and a good flush no sooner had the problems not so much gone, but wasnt spreading.

Anyway back to the grow in question.
The days are still very young (day 2+3) :baby:so theres not a great deal to tell. Aside from Nyc took 3 days to pop (mon-late wed night) & the bomb 4 days.
So I remove the cover & check the babies the nyc looks normal, happy & healthy. Then the thc bomb.......she's only a tri leaf :woody:I feel blessed with some sort of mutant plant from the greenhouses of charles exavior. As a new grower this has me really excited although one side seemed a little droopy in comparison at the start but she seems to be doing ok, a little weedy and stretched but she's reaching for that cfl. :jump:

Anyway im not really sure what else to add at this point, I know I'll have missed something (stoner brain:coffee2:)
But I shall try and do regular updates
Hope you enjoy it along with me.

For now though guys.....happy smokin :pass:

Day 3-11

:welcome:Evening grow mofos ; ) how are we all?
Well its been a week since my first input on this journal, and so far so good, the journey continues...
The NYC (day 11 today) is growing well, after a patient week she finally started a little movement above ground :woohoo1:
Day 7 she received a small feed of 'dutch pro take root'

The THC BOMB (day 10 today) however.....is a peculiar girl indeed..
She started off as what looked like a tri leaf, but as the second set of leaves have grown they seem to have fused together back to two stems but with three leaves......she almost looks asif she's been topped. She also seems very sensitive as they're both under the same conditions yet she looked a little singed and pale at the start. She seems to be picking up though. Never the less I'm excited to watch her unfold and see what sort of mutant she becomes.
She too had a feed of take root at 7 days.:greenthumb:
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated guys:thanks:

That lil odd one is just gonna be a drain on effort and resources. If it can be replaced, then it may be better to do so. The other looks healthy. :pass:
