hey sativa i wasnt sure exactly what youre after but heres a few closer pics fo the plant in different lighting to get a better idea, if you need more say i have camera on hand anyway.
i dont think i took a photo of the roots during transplant but i do remember all the photos roots were white and a bit underdeveloped. just slightly circling the pot at the bottom but nothing like the autos. i know this isnt much to go on but just they looked healthy if you want to ask about some specific feature of the roots ill try to remember.

i have started foliar feeding quarter strength nutes as recommended by someone on another forum, they seem to be perked up a bit today ill keep on that i think at the least itll let the ground dry out a bit and get some roots forming. ill water friday and get a new ph reading and maybe correct with soda/garden lime.

im not really sure how much calcium i have in my water but im assuming theres atleast enough needed by a plant and probably lots more. i dont really get limescale in kettles etc so it cant be crazily high.
i live in a city and dont really have a garden so i dont think i can get rainwater and have never seen RO water around here but ill look. where do you find this? we do not have walmart which seems to be where everything comes from. any other type that might work that would be available in a crappy enough supermarket?

thanks for the help

Ok.. First ROOTS
were the roots branching off the primary roots stubby and short swollen or were they covered in fine hairs??
they were mainly branching off the primary roots, i could see some small white hairs on the roots but only getting close up.
Second
i usually try not to recommend foliar feeding to a newer person to growing(simply because they fear for the plant so much they tend to kill it and my advise was the "reason")
But...
ive been feeding with the regular mix of GH 3 part but cut to a quarter strength. grow 1.25ml bloom .625ml micro 1.25ml per gallon of bubbled water, or as close as im able with a syringe. i spray with a pressure sprayer that creates a mist every night just before lights out(3 times so far) trying to spray both sides of the leaves

im not sure if i got what you meant at the end, should i up the level of micro in that mix? just micro nutes foliar fed? or i just need to balance out the ratios to get a 20-20-20- equivalent from my nutes to give a balanced feed, sorry probably just the way i read it.

they are growing but still slow enough, the pots are still damp but getting drier obviously. oh yeh im fine about the leaf damage just want to get them to flower and finished with something to show for it. so far i dont think the damage has gotten worse, or if it has its barely noticable.
theres newer pics in my sig there if you need to judge.

also if you think it just isnt worth bothering with i would be ok with starting new seeds in new soil and flowering these midgets.
if fixable then ill keep at it.

there are alot of roots coming through the bottom of the pots but the plants are still 7/8 inches tall i would have expected more growth by now, the pots are near dry now so i may water with phd water and check runoff incase it has drifted back down again. day 47 btw
any thoughts?
wasting my time?

hey no problem,
i was more wondering if they were a waste of time but they have pulled it together a bit anyway so i wont be dumping them yet anwyay.

its a mix of canna terra pro, canna seedstart, vermiculite, perlite and peat reduced multi compost so semi soiless/soil?
i had some roots poking through the surface on one(dragged onto its side from lst) plant so i added some different seedling mix with perlite and some dolomite to top up the pots and fix the residual ph problems hopefully.

the plants are doing well, see sig again if needed. i have been foliar feeding and started watering again this last week. theyre getting their colour back now and growth is steady enough.
cheers for the ph info i didnt know about lights on/off making a difference makes sense, i think i always water/check at night so that might mean its not as acidic as it showed hopefully anyway.

at last check i watered with 6.6/6.7 and got 6.5 runoff but at the end of the day again so getting close to optimal?
