Harvest & Curing Tool for getting bud from curing jar?

LOL...I like the big buds on top since it boosts my ego to see them first. Maybe I need to keep the shitty buds in a separate working jar and simply make a "Presentation" jar to have for looks.

My thinking is the larger buds cure longer.. I start dipping into jars after 4 or 5 weeks cure so I let the densest buds sit.

Chopsticks like @MR.K said, you can get them in lots of different material and lengths

Amazon has large plastic tweezers. How about a fish dehooker? Made of metal, squeeze the handle and they grab whatever you are trying to reach. 11 inches long.

Most old potheads have developed ocd actions concerning herb use.
I too separate nuggs according to size as i believe thicker buds take longer to cure....when testing cure, I select small nuggs but when considered well cured, smoke the good ones!
Some of the friends I gift love to see the colas and a couple prefer it kinda ground up like shitweed usually was.

I just put mine in jars by weight. 2 ounces in a quart ball tinted jar, 1 ounce in a pint jar and 1/2 ounce in 8 ounce jars. I need some half gallon or gallon jars if one plant I have makes it to harvest day. I've got enough put away already that most will be curing for a long time, maybe years if I don't just start giving it away. I lost count how much I have jarred up alreay, over a pound. I've got two autos should be done any time after next week. Three others after that and one big photo that I have no idea what it will yield. I'm thinking processing the ones I don't care for much into hash. Be easier to store. They all smell good as is though. Some fruity, some spicy, some like pine or citrus. I've got two jars that smell just like fresh blueberries. It only got jarred up a few days ago.

Pet stores have “feeding tongs”, which are basically long, easy to use tweezers. Most are around a foot long, should reach the bottom of a jar no prob and be easy to use.

Good suggestion...I got one and it works a charm!

Or, forceps are available on Amazon in different lengths.
I use forceps. As Arthur says they come in a bunch of lengths. As a side note y'all should grab a pair of reverse tweezers. The kind where when you squeeze them the tip opens up and closes when you release. Works great for handling seeds and planting them.
