Harvest & Curing Tool for getting bud from curing jar?

Greetings;

I use quart or half gallon jars for curing, and need a tool like forceps or long tweezers to reach in and get buds from the jar. I may need to get a particular bud from down deep in the jar and cant seem to get it out w/o upsetting the whole contents.

Is there a preferred tool that dispensaries or home cultivators use that is favored for this particular use? If so, I'd sure appreciate a link or suggestion of what works best for my need. I also think the less I handle the bud with my hands, the better the trichomes will stick on the buds.

I use tweezers, but also wonder what others do.
To avoid going deep, since I begin consuming the smaller uglier buds, I try to put the bigger nicer buds in the bottom when filling the jar.

Are you using wide mouth jars?

Ball wide mouth are easy to fit a whole hand in, but their regular jars are difficult to get into.

When I've bought dispensery buds, they usually pour some of the jar out onto a little mat. Or they just use their grubby little hands...

You could use forceps or a large tweezers if you wanna be like a mad bud scientist [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1]

Also a bit anal as in the first time i touch a bud is from jar to grinder.i just tip it upside down.i do grade my weed and use separate jars sml,med,large buds.
Ice cube tongs be my best bet.

You could look in the kitchen section for some kind of salad tongs.

Or, forceps are available on Amazon in different lengths.
When the dispensaries still had weed in jars, that's what they used. Now it's all prepackaged crap.

I just use my fingers but I do it over a trim tray that catches all the trichomes.

Seems the more the buds are handled, the more trichomes we could lose. I treat the buds like they are fragile, and I suppose they are in a certain sense.

I've never actually been in a legal dispensary, but I hope I'll have the chance to visit one day. I think the forceps route is a keen idea. One of my buddies suggested something cheap that I have at home....Chopsticks. Creative thinking.
