Just dropped a Toof Decay. Will be grown in 15x24" cab. DWC using MC (1 part) + fulvics + Sea-K + GW. Kind xl300 led. 24 hour soak in filtered water and CytoPlus and then into a Root Riot - DWC at 6.0 with .2 tsp of MC and GW.
That's the cloner/seedling space - the main grow chamber is 52" tall (34" from top of res to light). I move them to the main chamber at 14-18 days depending on root development. Growing in such small space(s) has been challenging but I believe accelerated my learning curve - at least I would like to think so.
I am averaging 4.7 oz every 60 days which is close to maximum capacity for this system, if not there.
Well, that first one did not pop, or is germinating very slowly. I see the stem/cotyls about 1 mm under top of cube but they are making slow progress. I am going to use this seed for an outdoor project (probably 5 gal organic soil). I will let that one sit and continue to do its thing.
So, I dropped another Toof Decay and it germinated with 48 hours no problemo. Already has roots. Running at .5 EC for now. When moved to main res I will slowly bring it up to target (1.0-1.1 EC).
You can see it in the foreground - it's in some kind of slow motion germination. The second germed quickly and produced this leggy seedling. I plan to get it moved to main reservoir as soon as I chop exiting grow (approx. 1 week). I'll then put her under 72 watts of 6500k T5s to try to suppress the stretch somewhat. Officially popped 5.27.21.
Thanks! I had a bit of Ca deficiency earlier on but bumped EC up to 1.1-1.2 and it seemed to resolve. It seems to be rolling into flower nicely. My experience with Meph gear is that once they get to this stage they seem to power through largely on their own accord as long as you keep VPD and pH in range. IMHO, YMMV, etc. :smoking:
This is the last run in this cabinet. My new 2x2.5 tent and all associated gear (Mars FC3000, Cloudline T4, hydrobucket, etc) has arrived so I will set up after this run.
