These two girls are at day 13 - being my very first grow, I don't know if they are tiny or OK. Also, is it time to begin LST?

Growing in Coco, first is Girl Scout Cookies, second is White Widow. The quarter is shown to help with image scale. Seeds came from Seed King, before I knew about how important genetics can be. When I asked them about the breeder, they said, "We work with multiple breeders that provide us with white label versions of the original genetics."

Back to original questions:
1. Tiny or OK?
2. Time to LST?

Your plant looks healthy and pretty decent in size, but i still think that its too short for LST (im not really experienced) it would be hard to LST it now and i would advise to LST the start of the stem right at the soil the other way, so that you dont risk pulling it out. Heres my plant with the first LST

Thanks!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but since I'm in rookie season I thought it best to ask the group...

They seem ok. It seems early for LST. I do it after the 4th node appears. I think you still are on the second one.

Like @Django_TO, I go by node count as well, starting at 5 or six and removing under 4. My goal with LST is to expose bud sites to max light throughout grow by creating a level canopy. Organic soil auto grower. Good luck.

I would like to pick your brain about cutting lower growth that early. If you have the time

Thanks for the response.

Can you elaborate please on what "removing under 4" means?

LST is too much busy work for me. I just top at the 4th node and let them grow. I have done all of that manifolding and bondage and the yields are about the same as doing nothing other than topping. I am using kelp and fulvic acid as a foliar spray to break the apical dominance in my current Photoperiod grow. I have not used this method before now so time will tell.
