Tobacco Mosaic Virus?!!

Let me throw this out there as this is new to m
:toke:- it's very hard to call mates, a lot of symptoms that look like it could be viral are not, and visa-versa,... TMV may not be totally confirmed, but it's very close strain relative Hemp Mosaic and Hemp Steak are definites! Several others are suspect,...
The big problem is how to confirm, and to do that you need a tissue sample lab test ($$ and not fast)... Agdia makes self-test strip kits, but they are quite easy to screw up and get bogus results,...

Symptoms are not a good match; asymmetry along the leaf midrib is anything but diagnostic... How far away are the lights? I see a lot of slightly yellow margin teeth tips, smacks of a K issue,...annoyingly, both defc. and toxicity show much the same!
Lights are far enough I believe, 20 inches ish. Those actually are the twisted tips I believe you're seeing. I could be wrong. But I have to double take myself. The very end flips and it looks yellow or burnt, but it's the underside. Heard about the strips, heard about their use as well. The TC I'm aware or also, but you're correct, and im not going that route haha. Working on a few things, just to weed things out. Well see. Funny thing is the plant is telling me she's ok, just a little retarded with bad skin. So I don't know. But if it's anything mosaic, it will do the damage at the end really, so there's that.

Hey, just a quick update for anyone interested and those who gave advice. First off, my brand new $60 ph meter is off, like a full point. So that's not a good start. Ph was a little high, ec was a bit high as well. I believe proph, you were on the money there. My twisty autos have straightened out a bit, it is noticeable, but the ends still have this twist to them. Basically every leaf, both plants. Wondering now if not genetic, that was exaggerated by the environment being high.....? So I'm ok with them as they are chugging along with relatively fast growth. As for the photo with the "dry skin", not sure what is honestly going on there. Similar environment, ph a bit high, ec as well, have corrected and watched it for about a week now I guess, and she still looks like she has exoma or however you spell that. Dry skin patches on leaves. She is growing well with no other issues, so im going to continue. As far as tobacco mosaic virus goes, thank you for keeping that out of my head. I knew better, but got stoned and caught up hahaha. Thanks to all for the help. Good luck, be safe, and look out for each other, we're all we got.

It was light burn!! These spider farmers I picked up are pretty good. I def recommend them so far, though, keep an eye out as I'm learning these need a bit more height than I'm used to giving. I'm floating a SF-1000 at the same height as a mars ts 1000, one for each plant and getting the burn on the 50 watt less spider. I knew, or assumed, it was a more efficient light, but I did not think it would be that different. Hence why I was having trouble pegging it down. Well, this is why I'm doing the different lights on the same strains in the same tent. Trying to compare the two. They seem like the best budget options out there. Aside from alibaba. Thanks again to everyone for all the help. It is very much appreciated.
