New Grower To Auto Or Not To Auto? Stitch Blueberries -- let's see!

Where I live it just has to look bad and the power goes out. That being said as long as it is soilless mix and not DWC you should have no problem in the end and lots of fine SMOKE

Yeah man, sucks don't it? Hate sitting around in the cold with bloody candles! Anyhow, I quit with aggressive hydro decades ago -- they're great methods, no doubt (I've used them all and, if I had to pick, prefer aeroponic systems), but I just grow a plant or two and can't be stuffed setting up float valves and EC and pH dosers, and flushing tanks, and blah blah blah. Coco does fine for what I need -- and, yeah, I don't need to freak out when the weather man loses his f--kn mind!

In other news,

I stretched the kitty and ordered two GrowSun 160W units! Got an okay price for them and though my bro thinks I'm insane (and that ain't news to anyone who knows me), I'm so damn impressed with his 320's I just couldn't think of anything better to spend some eBay money on (sold some RC cars the kids don't want anymore). Sure, two 160's for the midget space I use is total OVERKILL, I know, but you can dial these sucker up or down as you want -- and I can't wait!! I'll keep y'all posted and do a review on the things when they get here -- Eshine said about three to five days! Hate the wait!! LoL.

If it's worth doing it's worth over doing! I am with you I have a 300W LED draw light in a meter cubed tent.

Looks like I jumped the gun! :howdy:
Checked this morning. The blueberries are both girls!! So I got gender expression on day 24 and though they're hating being pushed, it's a good sign.

Awesome man well at least they are fems, now its time to find if they are auto fems.

Yeah, I know man. Those ducksfoots expressed gender in the early sixties so getting this at day twenty four seems around right for an auto. I'm livin' in hope.

GrowSuns have landed!

GrowSuns arrived in five working days! But, the box was pretty beat up (DHL SUCKS!!) and you can see the crushed corners on the carton. Of course I bought two but just unboxed one for the photos. Gotta get batteries for the remote control (cheapskate move Eshine!) before I get my buddy to help me tear down the tent and install these beauties.

They're much brighter than the TopLed 150W units. The TopLeds run at 95W true draw and the GrowSuns are actually 160W. The output on full bloom settings at one foot away is around 15,000 lux for the TopLeds and 24,000 lux for the GrowSuns -- but the noise difference is amazing! GrowSuns are practically silent compared to those noisy green monsters.

Now, if they do for me what they're doing in my buddy's setup they'll be worth every dime!

Cheers y'all.

Nice looking lights. That 12w ES screw spotlamp has got me thinking I might build a 4 mini cob lamp light rail instead of a 50w cob unit. Quick look on alibaba and they've got the higher wattage cob spots starting to appear, seems like nearly everyday led tech offers so many new possibilities!
