That go's against that chart so I set it to 5.4 but every time I check it it go's up even tho the roots not even outa the netpot. Is that normal?
Day 5
The hydroton can probably make the PH go up a bit but I think after a while it will level out. I use a perlite/vermiculite mix and it kinda behaves the same way. It will drive the solution up a little until the first couple water changes. Then it levels out. I see tons of ppl using hydroton on here, maybe one of those folks will chime in. Good karma sent!
ph keeps going up super fast I dont know what up, I put ph down in there like 3 times and then it jumps back up to, first 6.4 (adjusted to 5.4) then 2nd, 6.8. WTF! Im taking this meter back across town to double check it argg
Day 7 woke up checked PH: 6.4 Ok time for a full res change. didnt think I would have too the first week but I'm tired of adjusting everyday.
1. Filtered 4 and a half gallons thru a zero water filter
2. Added 11ml of GHflora Micro. EC moved from 0 to .4
3. Added 18ml of GHflora Bloom EC moved to .5
4. Added 7ml of GOCalmag+ moved to .65
5. Added 5 ml of silica blast "" .7
then I tested PH and it was 5.5 so I left it.
