grow room is looking nice smokey! This site is probably responsible for more LED sales...that purple is just so cool looking, not to mention the bud that it produces

photo(6).jpgphoto(5).jpgAlright Here's my seeds, the 2 on top are the ones planted as seymour said and the bottom one planted about a week ago upside down and too deep, it's clinging to life in the squashed up one. That's all my TD's so if I don't get 2 little gurls outa this I'm really screwed. I'm keeping them on top of my cable box in the dark and since there so warm I drip a few drops once a day to keep them wet.
Also I had to take back my 2nd bluelab Ph pen cause the 1st one was drifting way too much and was off by .5 the 2nd one I got was missing LED's on its screen and would not calibrate so I switched it out for a Hanna checker and got some Subculture-B, Silica Blast, and, Cal-Mag+ for the same price!
I'm hoping outside of the flora series and Rapid Start the Silica blast will make the whole setup more forgiving, and the Subculture will feed off the sugar in the Cal-Mag+
What you guys think?

I love seeing the all the LED DWC's. We should have a sticky just for it. I'm always posting pics of my setup, hope ya'll have seen it.

It's Alive!photo(3).jpgphoto(2).jpgFirst Little one should be touching down into the res(0.6 EC from RO water) soon, The taproot was already thru the rockwool a day before this which was the same day I thought to myself, "hey maybe I should pull the seedlings out from under my cablebox and put them under my Blackstar." Duh!

photo(4).jpgLooking good the ph is 5.6 is that too low? I'm still not to sure about my Hanna Checker or how to use "ph up" I tried putting a drop of "ph down" in a glass of water and the ph dropped to 2.3 I dont want to risk it if it's not important. Maybe this checker is the 3rd defective ph meter I've bought. Gezz

The ph up and down is strong stuff. A few drops to a gallon is normal use. Hard to do mixing by the glass. And here ya go. Save this, I love it. You want 5.8 for Hydro.

Did you buy calibration liquid too? Cuz that is pretty important using digis. It may be good practice just to get the drops and use both until you get comfortable with the amounts of drops you'll be using to get your solution in range. I've found that for exactly one gallon of water with nutrients already mixed exactly 1ml of ph down will drop my solution to the 5.9 neighborhood. Also 1ml = 20 drops! Hope this helps!

For seedlings its nice to have a lower pH, around 5.2, to help with mg uptake. Then when it's got a couple of nodes, bring it up to 5.8 range.
