I think the root boosters are a must have for autos because the bigger the roots the bigger the plant. I also have used them throughout my grow and I have 5 gallon pots FULL of roots and they drink almost a gallon a day.
New crisis everybody, Take a look at my seed, I've placed it Knot side down (I think) after it cracked in the shot glass. I did'nt want it to spit out its whole tap root b/c I smoke cig's and did not want to risk poisoning it. but it looks like the tap root may be coming up not down. The non-knot side was the first to crack. Maybe this is permature but I'm afraid it's upside down. What do yall think?
Hi Smokey and good luck with your grow. I would give that seedling another day and if you are sure the root is coming out upside down then you may want to put the seed-cube on its side (or invert it) to put the root where it need to be. Seeds dont always behave themselves !
Hey smokey! I've had the same problem with my auto-BB. I inadvertly misplaced my coco and it felt sideways. The root grown upside down. I did help her to get back on her feet again and she's great nowadays. Check it out at my thread where I explain what I did.
Keep it cool and she'll get over it smooth and easy.
After I woke up to this I had some surgery to perform... So I reburied on it's side with the curve pointed down.
Also Ive decided to try and make this grow interesting by throwing in a 2nd TD and showcase a few things Seymour didn't get to.
Like with one I'm using the 3-2-1 method (Basically what the bottle says) changing to 1-1-1 then 1-2-3. with and the other the Lucas Ratio 8ml micro 16ml bloom (0-1-2) the whole grow with GH Rapid Start in both. Trying to get some pro-techk but right now all I have is GH Rapid Start.
