Dutch Passion Think Different in DWC under LED

Just looked on the Greenlights site at the "Budzilla",interesting light with the integrated diodes although I'm not keen on the name lol same as I don't like the Cidly LED "KingKong" lol nor do I like the price,£1000 seems a lot for a light that appears to just have new chip tech. If I paid a G for a light I would at least want to be able play with the spectrum. Sayin that I've not seen one in action and it could be awesome.

You can live in this tent!

I think the next 12 months will see some really radical LED designs.

I've got a good relationship with Paul at green lights and he's been telling me all about the "Budzilla" it's a great step forward in LED tech and if the lights perform as well as he says I'm sure they'll be a
Hit as they're not as cumbersome as other led's. By the way, I like the name! Maybe I should
Move to America! Lol

I love how many directions the LED light designers can go,one of the most unique designs I've seen are the Kessil light but not seen anyone using them. Tech and weed are 2 of my favourite things so Leds are the only way for me :smokebuds:

Same as mate! Goes back to what I said in earlier post that I love growing for the geekiness behind it. Hence why I was determined to go with dwc and led as you have much more Involvement than with soil. I've not seen that light. I'll check it out now!

Right guys, time for an update.

My 6 TD's are now 5 days old and all looking ok, 5 out the 6 have a tap root in the res. I started them on ro water which was topped up to an ec of .4 with cal mag then up to .8 with rhizotonic and formulex. I was having ph swings due to the ro water not working with ph buffers in the nutes and the test grow 5 has had a really bad mg deficiency despite the added cal mag.

As a solution I've decided to mix tap water and ro water to achieve a background ec of .4 so I changed the res on the td's today with the water mix, rhizotonic a little bit of sensical and canna aqua nutes the ph is 5.7 and the ec is 1.2. The ph should remain stable now I've mixed the water. I've started on the normal feed schedule to get them going but If I think they can handle it I will change it to the aggressive schedule.

Sorry the pic is a bit rubbish but I need to get a light to go in my groom.

Something pretty bad has happened which could be the main reason why the test 5 is so sick! My ph meter starting getting stuck on whatever random reading it decided to give so I took it back yesterday and got it swapped. When I got home i tested my res's and the both read 3.4!! So my meter was obviously wrong even though I re calibrated it at the start of the week! I have no idea how long it's been playing up! It wasn't thT cheap either so I think I just got unluck with a faulty one! Hopefully it won't have too much impact on the td's as they were only 6 days old when corrected but I'm thinking I might do away with the test auto and grow out another td.

:bong: good start.

this is going to be good.

subbed up and ready for the results.
