Also @jingo i no u said wait for the stretch to stop to switch light but im wondering if u have grown quite a few plants do u have a rough estimate of when u switch it.like say start of week 6 or around day 35 etc? As im not that experienced to know when the stretch stops.i know theyre still stretching now as i keep having to raise the light every couple days.so would it be like if u dont have to raise the light for longer than a week they have stopped stretching.

You can switch your light now if you want to, the main reasons for waiting for the stretched and they're just to save a little money on electricity and to hopefully keep it from getting too much space between inter nodes. But if you're happy with your environmental conditions and the space between the internet loads you can switch your panel over and use a full power right now if you want.

I'm not sure for certain that you have chlorosis on those buds, that's what you call it when they bleach out and become White. Too much light intensity causes photoinhibition which will give you chlorosis there are some nutrient deficiencies and temperatures that can also cause chlorosis. I'm not sure that's what you have going on there. You can tie a little something round one of those branches to help you identify and then just watch them for the next few days to see if they're growing significantly different than the rest. If not you can just kind of not worry about them.

Ok cheers n i was happy with the conditions but now this heat wave in england is fucking me right over ive kept the temps at 28°c and right now its at 36.4°c.
Trying to get it down bit its proving hard.
Ill look into switching it soon and about that chlorosis

Today is the hottest day since 1949

@jingo what would u reccomend for heat. If i can keep it at 28 say 8pm till 4pm the next day, so like 20 hours of the day but 4pm till 8pm the 4 hours its a minimum of 33°c if not more. Would u reccomend i keep it higher than 28 for the rest of the time so its not like a shock. Say keep it at 30 or just keep it low for the majority of the time. (If that makes sense)
I might have to buy a air conditioner as its supposed to be boiling for the rest of the month.then may is supposed to be cold again.a little while ago we had snow from like russia now where hotter than spain and next month will be cold again lol hopefully they can handle the changes in climate

Sorry if im banging on aswell, your like my go to guy this grow lol

I think given the choices that you have I would probably shut my lights off for about 4 hours or whatever number of hours is necessary to keep the temperatures more stable. You still need to keep a fan blowing across the plants, in fact it's even more important when you got your lights off.

28 really isn't too big of a deal with LEDs, but if you get up to 33 then you're going to get light Airy buds. So you probably will do better shutting down during the hot periods.
