Indoor Think Different DWC 600 Watt Led 1st AFN Journal!

Hey AFN, been a huge fan of this site for a while, soaking up as much info as my brain can process. I've watched and read so many journals, I decided it was time to create an account, and start my first journal here. I used to grow photos on ebb and flow tables, but after finding this site, particularly Seymour Buds first grow of TD, it made me change my stance on autos and completely redesign my whole operation. Seymour is an autoflower legend, who wouldn't wanna model their grow after him?

Anyways, back to the journal. I'll be growing in a 3x3 tent, running 2 Apollo GL100 Leds, not the best IMO, but they did perform very well for me the past 2 grows. I'm running 5 gallon bubble buckets, with 4" stones, and a 60lpm air pump. The room has A/C, and I use a 440cfm exhaust and carbon filter. Tent conditions are 72°F, with 62% RH. I've got 1 Think Different, and 1 auto Pineapple Express going, just for shits and giggles, as the bean was free. The plants are 6 days from seed right now, and TD is on 1.0ec and 5.6ph. PE is at 0.8ec, and 5.6ph. Camera is broken atm. So as soon as it's back from repair il get some pics up.

My last TD grow yielded me 14 ounces off of 2 plants. This time, I'm only flying with 1 TD and what I assume will be a much smaller pineapple express. So I'm hoping the TD goes as planned, and I can really grow her to her potential. I'm considering doing a scrog to try and maximize the yield, as I've fitted my bucket lids with a homemade pvc and string scrog setup, pics to come later. But it ready made sense to do it that way so each bucket can be changed with ease. Anyhow, thanks for taking a read, and as this journey continues for me, I'd love any input/ advice you guys can offer me. Catch you later AFN.

Just did a water change. Base nutrients were a little high I think, few leaves showing slight burn. Guess I was trying to be a little aggressive .

7 o'z per plant is awesome !! I'm currently trying my first auto grow. I've got1x Think diff. 1x sour crack, 1 x sour orange diesel kush.. and i have to say the think diff is a beautiful monster. genetically perfect. symmetrical in a way I've never seen. looks like 8 big top buds are coming through, ( I'm on day 23 ) how far through are you ?

The 7 per plant was nice, but I've learned more about autos since then, so I'm hoping for 9 or 10 this time. Think Different is amazing to look at. She gets so massive out of nowhere. And definitely an easy strain to grow for a first time around. Just keep your nutes pretty basic, and be prepared for her to scream for more! I'm currently on day 8 from seed. My TD is about 5 inches tall, with its 4th set of nodes branching out. I'll be posting an update in a few days with pics.

What type of setup are you running? I love seeing what people are doing, and if I can learn/help at all.

My avater pic is the t.d I just finished. 8+ let her take her time. She will reward you. Sounds like you git a good plan. T.d has always reported well in a scrog.

Thanks Roark, she sure is beautiful in that pic! Really looking forward to this one. Have you scrogged TD yourself? I'm looking for the best yield I can, but the last 2 times, my stems have been too fat to bend as I would like too!

https://www.autoflower.org/index.php?posts/494535/ Nope. Its all about getting to them before the stem hardens up. I've found that just about pre flower is when they are the most flexable.
The man for t.d grows is sadly no longer around. But.... check out the link above. Tavid inspired me to scrog. Could be some helpful info.

I've read through Tavids journals, he's an absolute beast. I'm going to read through again and see what else I can pick up from him. I can't really wait until they're right around preflower to bend, after about 20 days, my stems are usually around 3/4" to an inch thick already. I use a solid dose of silica from the time they go in their pots. Its almost like I need to train them from the time they're only 10-15 days old. My last TDs ended up being 3 1/2 feet tall with a main stalk that well over an inch wide. They just grow so fast, I hope this time I get them scrogged in time lol.

I'm gonna LST and then scrog. And I think I have some pics on my phone, I'll check. They were big, almost as big as Seymore Buds, just not as thick as his buds were.
