Indoor The Tent Of Deliciousness

No there is no diffrenince what i have found
Yeah I figured it was wishful thinking lmao I’m always paranoid and unsure when I do it and my process so far has been clipping just select fingers from the fans if it’s for light and I clip the whole fan if airflow/mold is the issue. I had powdered mildew hit 2 of 6 plants on my first grow and I don’t wanna ever go through that again. Southern Cal has real high humidity May/June and even with the big dehumidifier running the tent averages 60% but spikes to 65% real easy. Hence the paranoia and wishful thinking! Thanks for the reply Dell and also for the rep

When I used to remove the lower growth this is what I was missing out on so I probably won’t be doing it anymore.

I keep saying “I’m gonna weigh it next time” but jeez the moment I discover they’re ready and I pull that first branch out of a paper bag, my mind just doesn’t go there. Instead I’m a mix of a kid in a candy store saying “wooohooo”, a proud parent saying “I raised her good”, and an astonished onlooker saying “How the HELL did he pull that off?!” I only take a few pics as I’m cutting because as you all know, pics just can’t translate what you’re actually holding in your hand. There‘s a very satisfying peace that comes with filling the grove bags and in that moment I find myself not thinking numbers or notes or AFN journal record keeping. But I’m gonna weigh it next time!! :haha:
Numbers unknown but I ended up with two bags, each about 75-80% full because I don’t like to stuff them tight.

And then there was 5….I couldn’t handle looking at the little Rocbud plant anymore, she looks exactly the same as she did 3 weeks ago. I’m not in the mood anymore to waste nutes or space on a plant that’s gonna give me a couple joints….

A hectic week is finally complete with my daughters wedding last night. They missed 2 feedings in 5 nights but seem to have took it in stride. They’re 57 days today and looking great.
I dropped 2 Mephisto beans to soak today….Grape Walker Kush and a 24 Carat. My last 24C went male so I’ll try again.

Just a reminder that is my first run where I kept my lights at 60% the whole time keeping them about 30-36 inches away and they’re looking delicious. The SS/DG spent most but not all of her life at 60% and came out great. My power bill is ridiculously low now and that’s the goal.

Grape Walker Kush and 24 Carat sprouted together in 48 hours. First time germinating without 24 light for heat purposes so I’m real happy to see these. My lights run 16/8, temp at night probably in the low 60s. Put trust in the humidity domes and these babies sprouted exactly when all others did at 24/0 with constant 78-80 temp. Great to know in my quest for simple and convenient. Next step is hitting up @Lil Dab for a parts list of that badass flora flex setup!

Since I have new sprouts it’s a good time to share how I germinate for anyone who hasn’t read it before…

I don’t transplant because my first researching found many people having great success with transplanting AND not transplanting so I decided that FOR ME it was an unnecessary step and just another thing for me to f**k up.

I germinate by dropping the seeds in some distilled water for 24 hours and then straight to their final pot. I don’t care if the bean is floating or sunk or if it’s cracked open a bit or not, in it goes. i don’t use the paper towel method because my first researching found that many people have great success both using it AND not using it so I decided that FOR ME it was an unnecessary step and just another thing for me to f**k up. If there‘s no sure sign which side the taproot will come out, I take my best guess. It’s a weed it’ll figure it out.
I’m in Tupur Royal Gold coco because I want to fertigate every day instead of trying to guess when I should water and/or feed. I use the GH line with all the supplements and I feed according to their medium feed schedule.

Right after I drop my beans in water I soak my pots also with distilled water until a nice runoff. Before I drop the seed in the hole I sprinkle some Great White Mycorrhizae in and around the hole. Then I lightly spray the top with a spray bottle for 48-72 hours until they pop. Then I continue to spray the top for a few days. On day 3 I introduce a half dose of the week 1 nutes by fertigating the outside couple inches of the pot until a bit of runoff. I’ll wait about 15 minutes and REAL lightly fertigate a ring around the sprout. On day 5 I’ll again fertigate REAL lightly a ring around the sprout. On day 8 I’m on full dose of the week 2 nute schedule applied same as day 3.
Watering in early stages in a final container, TO ME, is pure common sense. I treat it like a sponge. Water will not just pour through in a straight line, it will absorb first. I’ve set a pot high on a table so I could watch the runoff and water from the outside 2 inches of the pot came out close to the center, so my approach is fertigating slowly from the outside edge towards the center and decreasing the input as I approach the center. And I can tell by feeling the sides and bottom of the fabric pot how much water is already in there so I act accordingly. It’s really not a complicated process lol. But my goal is to have some food ready everywhere in the pot at all times.
“Right or wrong“ approach matters none to me, it’s all about what I’M comfortable doing to produce the outstanding bud currently in my cooler. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

Bottom line is I’m not a technical guy. I don’t use pens, I test my ph with a pool kit like once a week, and the only thing digital associated with my grow now is the exhaust fan control panel. I probably treat it like a weed too much but there’s no arguing the consistent results.
