Indoor The Tent Of Deliciousness

Like the idea with the drill for mixing but something you might want to look to is a submersible pump for mixing your nutes they work great.. I have bunch I use for irrigation and the irrigation pumps I retire I use for mixing:d5:

That’s a good idea man I actually have an old small submersible so I’ll keep that in mind.

I feel guilty having em pinned down when they wanna stretch but they‘ve been playing along and are happy to be able to go vertical now. As always I’m learning a lot with the experiments and as I watch this plan unfold I see details that make me go “hmmmm I wonder how she’d look if I did this…” so I’m excited for the next beans. I’ve been doing a little defol every other day for both light access and moisture prevention but that mostly gets a rest now for a little while. They’re getting their flower on and I need to see where the smaller stuff now wants to direct itself before I needlessly butcher them further. Thank you for following along :pass:

I saved Rocbud Little Roc for last so I could point out how small she is. She’s on minimal training and at this point is looking like a 4 joint plant. However small the yield though it will be worth the experience of watching a tiny ass bansai plant grow I guess lol.

Growing bud has turned out to be a wonderful hobby. Embracing science and combining it with nature has been very fulfilling and the zen of tending a garden is unbeatable. However there’s no denying that the ultimate satisfaction lies in changing the perspective from this…

78 days old today and real close. I’m seeing about 7.2% amber and it’s increasing exponentially. It still trips me out that my mature plants are always fully green with no fading at all but I’ve come to assume it’s because I’m in coco and feed so regularly right up to the end. Not in a hurry at all to chop her because she’s beautiful to see when I open the tent. She will be missed but her spirit will smoke on. For a couple months at least lmao. Let’s not forget I missed and thought I dropped her in the hole and she sat on top of the coco for about 14 hours before I re-dropped it. A trooper for sure. I gotta get one of my kids to take some pics tomorrow with the fancy camera on the newer phones. I’m going to start a hall of fame wall of all plants grown in the shed. And by golly this stuff is so good that it’ll look like all I did was frame a bunch of High Times centerfolds! Peace :pass:

Day 45. The training seems to be going good and I’m taking notes how to improve for the future. I hate doing defol because I’m never sure if I’m helping or hurting but ambient humidity is super high and the fear of mold and mildew is real. Because of this I am developing a preference to growing sativa dominant strains in the future.

48 days and the tent is starting to look pretty delicious. There’s always that point in the grow when I open the tent and the reaction is not so much “Right on girls you’re progressing nicely” as it is “Wow you ladies look freakin gorgeous!”
The next couple days will be adjusting some ties and a little defol. I’m definitely learning a lot this grow, one of the biggest being that with constant training I can let the entire plant grow and not remove any lower growth unless deemed necessary for light or airflow. I’ll label the plants next time I just wanted to dump some pics real quick.

Since they’re in coco and being fed a steady daily diet, does defol affect them any different than in soil? I’ve always wondered if it affects them a little less with a steady stream of nutes?
