Day 71 and 20
Removed the 4x8 and have a 3x3 for kids and a 4x4 for adults. It will be easier to germ sprout and establish easier with proper humidity and not have to worry about finding a happy medium for both kids and adults. I can use the 3x3 as a dry tent as well. Aiming for 2 plants chopped every 30ish days. These are super close there’s amber on all of em but minimal on the calyxes so I’m going to give them a few more days or so. I just gave them plain ph’d water today but only because its time to mix a new week’s batch but I’m a little lazy right now. They’ve had steak and lobster for 70 days, one day of bread and water ain’t gonna kill em.

I use a 4x4 efinity ecogrow 630w and it stays at 60% power for pretty much the whole grow. I start with 60% at 48” high. Then I average 36-30” high and at around maybe 40ish days I up the power to 80% for 2 weeks. Then it’s back to 60% at about 16” above the canopy until she’s done, which is about another 10-14 days. I experiment a LOT and found that, at least in my environment, my plants get much fatter the last two weeks when power is reduced and light closer to the top. I used to use Photone in the beginning and understand how it’s good to know ppfd DLI etc but I haven’t bothered the last few grows. I like a further distance (like the sun) because the ppfd on bottom and top growth should be closer to similar when the light is farther. No idea if that’s true but it’s worked ok so far.

I’m starting a new journal in the new growers section because well frankly I’m bored and kind of miss detailing a journal day by day. I’ve got a few friends that are gonna be lurking and watching as I’ve encouraged them to come aboard and see how it easy it can be. So I’ll be detailing it step by step. The 24 Carat was male so got kicked out. Pissed me off but whaddyagonnado? Grape Walker Kush doing well and dropped a Double Grape and a Night Owl Outlier C the other day. 5 plants drying in the 4x4 since Tuesday.
