Day 20

Rearranged a bit just for fun. I found my super long extension tip for my shop vac hose so I ditched the self draining pots for a while. This enables me to get more distance from my light and increase 20% power.

The Grappa bottom right corner has always been the leader of the pack, exploding at an early age. Topped her a couple days ago after 5th node and doing leaf tucking. The Grappa back middle was suuuuper late to the party, so small for a while I assumed it was a bad bean but waited to see if she’d take. Then boom in the last 72 hours she went total turbo. Everyone else seems to be average Joes.

Day 28

Amazing how much bigger one Grappa is than the rest of them. She got topped first and trained first and is definitely living her best life. The back middle plant, her “twin” is only half her size thus proving our point when we tell newbies not to compare plant sizes even around 30 days!

Day 36

Broke out second light so one is on pulleys for shorter plants and other is attached high as possible. Both at 60% power and about 26-30 inches above plants. Usually I continue to train throughout the grow but this run they got just the initial pull to open the middle. Although all born on the same day they continue to show very different growth cycles.
The flora flex auto feed setup is awesome. 10 minutes once a week mixing a cocktail, dumping it in a tote, and setting a timer can’t get much easier. However it got SO easy that I got bored and felt disconnected to my plants so I broke it down for now and will be hand feeding daily instead. Only takes a few minutes and I enjoy the hands on experience.

Day 42

A healthy buffet of sizes and styles. Plants thriving under 60% power which is nice because tent temp will stay 82 or less. Two lights at 80% gets up to 86 but we have a cool streak of about 70 degrees coming up (I know 70 degrees isn’t “cool” but it’s a lot different than 79 when it comes to tent temps). No idea what the ppfd is but if they ain’t crying and I can save a buck on the power bill then I say hell yeah

Day 47

Stuffed them all under one light again due to problems with second light. I released the training tie downs to skinny them up so I could 5 comfortably. The Grappas, while looking very different are starting to the show the frost that I grew them for. They’re the plants I specifically have in mind for pressing but I’m also much in love with the flower, it’s Double Grape x Forum Stomper and gives an excellent high. I’m going to look into a smaller light and divide the tent again into 2 4x4s soI can germinate the new batch. I love having the flexibility of the big tent, very lucky to have the space for it. Day 55

2 new kids 4 days old Grape Walker Kush and 24 Carat. The 24C is being grown exclusively for the press. Some nice frost forming and the tent scent is all deliciousness.

Day 61

Lowered light output from 80% to 60% and lowered the light maybe 5-6 inches or so. Haven’t bothered looking at trichs yet, I’ll take a peek in a week.
