Indoor The Tent Of Deliciousness

Wow overnight she straightened her fans and pulled herself together. Totally expected her to be all wilted and sad but she looks great! I mean her guts were all over the floor and I literally was shoving roots into dirt in the pot. Gotta be honest, I’m not sure how people succeed in killing these plants 🤣🤣

26 days old and growing along nicely, about to pull the top nodes down.

24 Carat has some edge curling on a few leaves…

Temps are perfect but I realized that I always have my pots on the grate risers and this was just sitting on a solid platform so perhaps the pot is retaining more moisture than usual. I added the riser and put a fan on low throwing extra air under it and I’ll see if that helps..

Shes training nicely though and shows no other problems…

Grape Walker Kush made the miracle recovery (really really wish I had pics of how bad her dirt and roots exploded upon impact lol) and is also responding to training. I love the the open structure so far…

The topped first nodes are doing their thing, real curious how it plays out in the end structure wise…

As always I’m trying something new…tying 5th node straight above the 3rd instead of usual twisting based on the assumption the 5th will be vertical and not in the way of lower growth. Also eventually removed all the main fans because they were blocking light and I’m trying to develop a consistent defol style. I love this stuff ☺️

Growing is fun isn't it? I love how quick the plants respond and change. Training is satisfying since you can see them develop in hours instead of weeks.
So so true, I really need to get hold of an extra camera for time lapse. I find it fascinating that I can bend a top totally horizontal and in about 90 minutes you can see it bending back up. Playing the God of Nature by controlling the environment and manipulating plants with training has surpassed golf as my favorite after school activity 😄

I’ll be honest don’t think I’ve ran my setup the same way yet.. Every time I seem to modify or change it so a part list is hard to come up with for me.. First off what are using for media coco? If so then dealing with the runoff is going to be more important.. I use ez-pz trays from the bucket company.. most folks use a flood tray the only issue I had with one of those was shipping 100$+ just for shipping and I couldn’t find local.. I use a 20 gallon brute or craftsman tote for a "Rez”. My go to pump is a kedsum 100w 800gph pump they are like 30$ on Amazon.. I have used the flora flex bubbler manifold with good results and would be using this run but i need another set of ports so i made a new manifold out of old parts.. I like the flora flex caps but modified mine to fit my 2 and 3 gallon grow bags.. other folks just use drippers most of us use .5gph pressure compensating drip emitter... I prefer flexible tubing rather then standard irrigation tubing just have to be careful that it doesn't kink and that make sure you get BLACK NO CLEAR it will grow algae and be toxic to the plants.. Here's a bunch of pics of my stuff that I am using and spare parts.. Pro tip you can never have enough fittings:thumbsup::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: Everything I use has been bought at amazon or lowe's feel to hit me with any questions and be sure to check @JP1 setup and he does have a parts list:doh::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I think you'll want to use drippers mainly to help from the rez siphoning down... It's a love hate relationship with the flora caps they do a great job but once the plants are grown up your not removing it with out some damage to the plant.. I only have this issue when I want to treat the coco for pest.. I seen may folks do just fine with out them and just use drippers or you can get halo's but from my understanding halo's can be tricky to get even distribution.. I believe @DCLXVI runs automation irrigation with halo's in coco

I just ordered my “starter kit” and once I get that in front of me I’ll know what other pvc accessories to get. Also, I always treat my fabric pots as disposable so I figured I can cut em open if necessary but I ordered extra drip trays so I won’t need to remove them until after I’ve chopped the plant anyways. I don’t want to use drippers or a halo so I’m really hoping the trays work out, they seem to be exactly what I’m looking for. Mostly though it’s a chance to experiment and jump down a whole different rabbit hole! Thank you and @JP1 soooo much for taking that time to share pics and info, I learned a lot about the process just from looking at your setups. Cheers 🍻

And thanks for the rep guys!!

Just incase you miss it in LS which is easily done  :dizzy::baked::crying::crying::crying:

@DoobieGrows finally had time and found it check this thread out I think I got the main points quoted but @PeaceLove&Buds has added more and his list :d5:
