Well, I hope you manage a good grow with them, I love "Zamnesia Caramel" to grow.... I always get a very good result, as you can see from above (and they still have another 8 to 10 days to fatten, before they get the chop).

Day 58 Update

Everything is going well, the buds are starting to get heavy and bend over, so I had to put a scrog net in place to hold some of the stems up.

The buds are now very very sticky and smell of sweet and dank Caramel.

(my fingers tasted sweet & sugary after handling the stems)

Topped up the reservoir with a final 20 Ltrs of my "Bloom Mix" with some extra Mammoth P.

When this runs down (about 3 days) they will go onto water for a bit of a flush for 3 days or so, followed by 1 day of darkness before they get the chop.

The Ladies are on track and approaching the final phase, bang on my target date.

So, Just a few pictures to update this thread today.

Day 56 Update

A festive Boxing Day to you all...

The Ladies had a quiet Christmas day, left alone to their own devices they decided to grow !

Having not looked at them for two days, I can really notice the difference.

Bud production is in full swing.

The tent is bursting at the seams, time for a bigger tent (maybe I will grab something in the January Sales).

Buds are starting to pack it on now, Still taking up feed and water like a Alcoholic at a free bar event.

I think the additional Mammoth P they have been receiving is helping.

The Ladies have also been getting in the festive spirit, by developing loads of frost....

I am feeling confident, that if they carry on as they are (without any unforeseen hiccups), I should get a record Harvest.

The Pulse has been exceptional in monitoring the environment and assisting in dialing in the targets for this grow, I will 100% include this bit of Kit into my standard grow set up in future.

I have to say, keeping the Temps, Rh & VPD in the sweet spot is proving results.

Using the Pulse I have managed to keep the environment dialed in pretty close to (what they say is) the "Best VPD" for each stage of the grow.

Currently I am in flower stage, and I am aiming for a tent environment of around 27 Deg C, at 52% Rh, this gives me an average 1.3 kPa VPD

Running 19 Hrs Lights on, 5 Hrs Lights off


Lights on Log - Last 16 Hrs Log

The Fan controller is keeping the tent environment within the target range, reasonably steady, very little movement.

According to all the available research, this ensures that the plants "Stoma" are operating at peak efficiency.

As you can see, It looks almost Spot On !

Of course, everything else needs to be dialed in as well....

My feed is:- Ph = 5.8, EC = 1.9, Soil Ph = 6.4

The Plants show no signs of any deficiencies, nutrient burn, lockouts, etc

Perfect feeding cycles of Wet/Dry (I love the Autopot system).


So, All things being equal, this should translate to maximum growth / yeild, etc.

To date, it all looks good.

Day 59 Photo Update

The buds looked to be doing well, but, they are getting to a size where I need to have a closer look.

So, I snipped one of the smaller Mid/Lower buds off, just to take a peek at the tric's under the microscope

It won't be wasted, I have put it in a drawer for a little test smoke in a few days time.

Mid/Lower Bud

Lots of tric development, but as I anticipated, one plant is a few days ahead of the other.

And both need few more days / 1 week to fatten the buds and get some more trics heading towards cloudy.

I will take one plant down a few days before the other to allow for a variant in type of smoke.

I am looking for a decent high from one plant and a bit more couch lock from the other, and doing this should account for that.

Well, it has worked before....
