New Grower The Plants of The Ape

@Savage Garden is another one who's mean to his plants, but results speak for themselves bro. @912GreenSkell gets those results because he knows his environment. Get to know what works best for you in your situation and your environment and watch the magic happen

The funny thing is my climate blows...indoors its 15-25%RH and heat is 90F when all 3 lights are on. But I make it work!! My plants don't get the monstrous size that they get in prime climates, but since my space is small monsters wouldn't work anyways!! ;) I am totally happy to pull 2-4oz off an auto in the stealth cabinet in 1.5 gallons of promix HP

Its overcoming adversity, that makes a great grower!! Every old school outdoor grower will likely tell you that.

Yes, I've seen @Savage Garden 's work too. One of the first journals I read was about him using Miracle Grow with plants that were tied up and full of buds, like 10" high if I remember right. I didn't remember it being here at AFN I could have sworn it was at 420Magazine but I guess not. That was the first place I heard of Mega Crop. He couldn't wait to get ahold of that.

I've been looking at Pro-Mix so HP is what I'm wanting then. I'm happy that I have had zero adversity so far and a bit scared because I know it can't go this good, somethings gotta happen. It's been my nature of things most of my life, but I've always dealt with it with a bad joke and moved on.

I went into this venture not looking for or worrying about yields. So I didn't care what the quotes were from the seed companies, who are probably using way better equipment in far better conditions than myself anyway. I just wanted to get some grows under my belt have enough to keep my wife as pain-free as possible and then really turn it up down the road.

Yes promix HP is well suited for autos, especially smaller autos...HP stands for High Porosity, meaning it is more aerated with added perlite than the Promix BX. Yeah for sure take plant yields from seeds companies with a grain of salt, but also know that several us have by far exceeded posted yields on some breeders websites. I have more than doubled listed yields on a few photoperiod strains.

Get to know your individual climate. Read the weak link article, and one variable at a time, one grow at a time, attempt to improve your climate, even in some small way.

Sounds like there is plenty of drive to succeed in both you, and your wife.

I was peeping a grower over at the portal today "Stunted" that is amazing at what he does to his plants. I would be scared to death to apply some of his methods. He watermarks his plants pictures as Stunted Art and for good reason.

Yes stunted!! Also be sure to dig up grows form arty zan , mr sparkles hmmm....will think of other amazing micro growers.

Been a competitor my whole life, with life in general, not just sports or gaming or whatever. The wife is the same way. The Marine Corp. Made me a stickler to adapt, overcome, and succeed. Not to mention my meticulous nature of attention to detail.

Right on, Boss. HP, it shall be. Now, do you add more perlite to the mix or no?

Stunted... That cat is slightly mad. I can just tell that he'd be the one that you'd have to watch if you went out drinking with him.
