New Grower The Plants of The Ape

So my little DIY project is finished and working like a charm. I had a grand total of 20$ for an exhaust fan I chose the 120mm muffin fan with 110cfm at 2600rpm that I then equipped it with a charcoal activated refrigerator filter. It's no inline with virgin carbon but it should get the job done decently enough.

I mounted it directly on the back of the muffin fan. It's currently exhausting out the top sleeve of the tent and working well. Between the two clip on's and the exhaust, the tent without any A/C in the room kept the temp down to 80F at the hottest part of the day where it had been 87-88F

Apedate: Day 21...

It is not like me to cut corners, but let's face it, in today's social media-driven hoopla, sometimes you drop a Tweet on the masses that pretty much packs that perfect punch right in the ole booger-box that you just can't top. No matter how many words you try to paint into a post there just really isn't anything you can do to top a (mic-drop) today is one such occasion.

So, all I can really offer is that @TheMongol was spot on in his summation that this week the girls were going to go "BOOM!" and at 3/4" a day they have done just that.

The numbers:
  • 80F
  • 56% RH
  • 19 inches under the LED-Zeppelin
  • PH 6.32 1/2 liter of water only from the bottom last night
  • Next Feeding of Mega Crop will increase from 1g to 1.2g per liter this Thursday
  • Increasing Sweet Candy from .35g to .50g per liter this Thursday
  • Maintaining Cal+Mag Pro ratio of .5g per liter this Thursday ending three weeks from this next feeding.
@Greenleaf Nutrients I will be hard pressed to EVER use anything else other than your products. Besides, I don't have any kind of budget to spend on the unknown. "If its workin, I'm not searchin!"

Have a Highly Awesome Medtastic Day, AFN Fam!

"Grow on with your bad selves"

killer update!

Tina and Loiuse doing fine, but real Boom will come with stretch and they'll transparing like hell, are you prepared with a dehumidifier for it?

Apedate: Day 24

As you may be able to see, my girls have a case of the droops. It's feeding night so they will be happy happy happy! Soon enough. I hate seeing them droop, as they are sagging faster and faster. What was every three days has been about every 24-36 hours now that they get thirsty. I think I am going to increase their water to one liter every other day until I can keep the droop off or at least to a bare minimum.

I have been so scared to over water them that I believe that I may be being a tad stingy. I really don't need them talking amongst themselves and be like, "Oh, lookie, its the water Nazi." I awoke from a dream last night to Tina and Louise attacking the Cherry Tomatoes and sucking the juicy out of their fruits... It was a nightmare straight out of a Ray Bradbury tale.

Anywho... on a brighter note and please correct me if I am wrong. (I'm kind of a nub at this, after all) but are those flowering nodes I am seeing? And should I think about maybe lopping off a few of the lower fan leaves? It would make it a hell of a lot easier to get the water to them rather than spill it all over their hairdo's.

Tina who has been the runt since a tap root is now just one inch shorter than Louise. The wife has become so attached to them that I might have to take her phone/social media away from her on harvest day because I am sure that she is going to report me to some plant activists group about me being a ruthless savage.

I am tagging multiple warriors into the thread for maximum eyeballs and water advice.

They are 18 inches from the light from the tallest plant which is Louise who stands 10 inches tall. Tina has really closed the gap as she is now 9 1/4 inches tall. Temps have averaged 80-82F with RH hanging at 40-51%

Tonight's feeding is brought to you once again by @Greenleaf Nutrients and they will each receive...
  • 1 liter of Aerated water
  • 1.20g of Mega Crop
  • .50g of Sweet Candy
  • .5g of Cal+Mag Pro
  • After mixed they will be in the 5.8 PH range
I really wanted my first grow to be as stress-free as possible so I am not going to practice any LST methods on this my very first grow. After a long discussion, the wife and I have decided we want our first to be a natural childbirth.

About those bottom fan leaves or any of them. What would be the least stressful to lop off, if you would at all? Thank for your help in advance. You are the greatest community BAR NONE!

red:thumbsup:

can you roll or fold down the top of the pot ? guessing the pot is bigger than 6L,if so then i think you could give them a bigger drink.though a lil droop is natural at lights off, they can take a bit to wake up in the mornings to :coffee2: im an untidy waterer and my bottom leaves dont take long to go all manky, could cut em off if they bother you.
overwatering is easier and more harmfull early in life.a half/3/4 grown plant is a lot harder to overwater.
edit... waht i man is you can overwater a seedling once and it could take 10 days to dry out.a larger plant youd need to overwater 2,3 times in nearly as many days for same effect.

on the whole looking good
