I guess it is about time for an update from the cabinet. I should have fresh bud in the next 2-3 weeks. BHD1 should be ready the first week in June. Everything else is coming up pretty green with the exception of that damn tuttie fruttie. I don't get it, it has had the exact same treatment as the rest but it just won't straighten out and grow right. I am hoping that it at least turns out to be decent smoke. Anyway here are the pics.

I can't get over how bushy your BHD's are!!

Looking forward to seeing the SDH's progress.

Me too Bailer I think that the two that are left are female. I had a third that was started at the same time and it showed male yesterday. I still have pollen from the bushy SDH male I rescued from a friends house. If everything keeps on smoothly I will be breeding for a stock of SDH beans. My oldest girl, BHD1 was pollinated by it before I cut it down so there will be some BHDxSDH seeds coming soon as well.

This is the one that I'd have to hit with pollen,,,
You need any PBD pollen?

Now that you mention it NC I might have to try working those genetics into my mix at some point I still have about 30 beans from that batch. I like them because they stay small and finish fast. I am not sure of the lineage since the parents were part of a 20 seed Shortstuff mix. I have been calling them the mystery midgets. They have a great uplifting high with a fruity taste. I gave some stock to a friend and he has been enjoying them. I am just now getting back to them after running the BHDs for a while. I think that I need to take another look at breeding them for their compact size into something suited for my cabinet space.

overdue update

I have been a little slack about keeping this thread current. Here are my BHDs at 7 weeks old.

That is just amazing how you run your setup with the air stones down there! When I get the balls to do so myself, Im definitely going to give it a shot. Im guessing you have to be pretty observative tho right?

Mmm...mmm...mmm...Looking Good...

and looking almost Finished....drool...

How long do you think...?

And here is the rest. The two mystery midgets are about 6 weeks old and the SDH is about 4 weeks.

It isn't as hard as you would think JEM. I find that I am in my cabinet several times a day staring at them anyway. I have been nuting according to the plants needs, using the fox farms feeding scheduele for photo period for reference. It has been simpler than I thought.

I will give them two more weeks or so Wiz. I hope to see some nice fattening between now and then.
