Mephisto Genetics Lift off! Sour Stomper, Toof Decay, S.O.D.K, SC x DBC

Gotta ask...why the molasses so early?
And as above... more water. Your in coco, it is a hydroponic substrate. Must always be damp.

Ok... just read back thru, your in coco, ph'ing to 6.7? Sounds like your treating coco as soil.

I think you need to make a decision, your mixing grow styles, and it's not going to work out well.

I'll add, I run coco, and I can run into the mid to high 6s, but this is due to an oddball nutrient line. Standard nutrient lines in coco will be pHd to 5.8 to 6.2.

I just started the molasses yesterday, one of the guides I follow suggests a little with each water to feed the microbes - the same source recommends phing between 6.3 and 6.9 for this specific style grow as well. Mr Canucks grow from YT if you are familiar. I'm essentially copying him directly, but I've used several different sources to double check the info hes giving and plenty seem to be doing fine with it so I never really questioned it. Also watering more frequently and with more water after the suggestions from my OP.

Well... I'd do some looking at running coco, particularly the pH... watched a couple of his vids...
Looks like he is amending the coco with dry nutrients and then running as soil... so maybe...
Honestly he lost me when I saw the blurple lights.

Have you watched growtube or the dude grows show?

The Grateful Grower is a decent channel as well.
There are many grow styles that work, and many that work somewhat... I was taught to grow before the internet, so you've a great advantage with all this knowledge available... but understand, there is an awful lot of reinventing the wheel out there too.

Not trying to sound like a negative Nelly, things look good so don't let me get you freaked. Just something I think you should look into.

I appreciate your feedback! I know this first run will be a major learning curve for me so I'm open to all suggestions. I originally planned to run a soil mix with the same amendments, but a few guys at my local hydro store talked me into the coco. Said it can be used the same exact way essentially and was more forgiving with overwatering and disease/pest indoors and gave me a few resources to check out.

Stumbled upon Mr Canucks grow and honestly the biggest thing that turned me onto his method is I've used the same exact method in my vegetable garden for years now(not coco of course, but everything else is the same). It seemed very straight forward and it's something I'm already extremely familiar with and I've seen great results from both auto and photo grows from him and other channels. If this run doesnt work out, I'll be going back to soil for sure.

Havent checked out growtube or the grateful grower but I've watched quite a few of the dude grows videos. They seem to lean towards bottled/non organic nutes so I dont really explore the channel much. I'll check out the other two though, I actually prefer YouTube videos for grow guides so thank you!

My biggest concern is if you run into issues, your gonna need advice from someone growing in this style....
Problems in coco you flush the medium clean and reboot... soil you amend, so if you have rough spots, factor this in, and find someone that's doing it, or done it.

I run bottled, but nectar for the gods (omri compliant), which is a calcium based line, so my regimen is way off of what most do running salt based nutrients.
Kinda a PITA, but I like the end product.

Interesting thread, I do Coco+Lucas Formula so my pH is always down in the mid to high 5's. Curious to see how this turns out as the plants mature!
