Looks like leafhoppers to me yup. Haven't found anything natural that really wipes them out. Might have luck with predatory bugs but no idea what type.May be leafhoppers
Also found a few pillars, 5 or 6 total , but I know where this goes. Spraying some BT tonight immediately. Not messing with those this year. Anyone have luck with more natural options?
This is exactly why I keep a notebook and record important things like deficiencies/pests/pest management/teas/top dressings etc etc. So handy when you need to go back and remember what you did or what happened previously.Reviewed my journal from last year, boy that’s helpful. I remember the caterpillars were worse, but now was when they were starting to gain a foothold, so I’m gonna try to prevent that this year. Ton more observations, but the point is a journal on here is pretty helpful. To any lurkers out there or folks who are starting out but not journaling, this is your wakeup call. It’s more for future you than for everyone else.
