Yes Terro ant bait you can get it just about anywhere there's a lot of different kinds but they all work really well and that's what I use there's the drip guynn there's the kind that you put outside by your trees this guy a little nibble spot in it you can get them at the local hardware store any Walmart Home Depot Lowe's or Menards

Thanks! Did 30 seconds of research, I may get one with Borax. Figure the ants will take it under ground to potential root zone areas, don’t really want to be smoking fipronil, though the concentration would be hilariously tiny. Looks like Terro makes a borax version.

Both planted in the native soil are pretty small. Putting some photos in the same soil once these are out, going to dig a large area up and amend it first.

Yup that's what I would do. Amend your native soil put some humic acid in it bone meal blood meal perlite P Stones vermiculite composted cow manure compost in any kind of composted manure really don't matter maybe some bat guano if you can find that Jamaican would be really nice but Mexican Indonesian would be good for the nitrogen content they have some seashells crushed up and some egg shells crushed up some whole eggs crushed up and Blended in their mix it all up real good and stick it in a hole about the size of a big bushel basket or bigger and you'll have some damn good soil right there to work with. that's all I did

It rained here the day before yesterday it rained hard it filled my barrels up in 20 minutes 386 gallons and there was still plenty more rain came down after they were full. But I drove down to my lawyer's office pick up some paperwork and I was watching some yard Crews and they were just mowing dust yesterday that rain-soaked up that quick
