Grow Mediums The Coco Home Thread -- Calling ALL Coco Growers!!!

Nitrogen during flowering

Didn't want to start a thread.

Discussion question: Do any of you coco growers tapper off on the N.

Using CannaCoco A & B. As a side note, the guide shows PK added when flowers just start blooming. I did so this grow and later in flowering on my last grow.

Problem both A & B have N. Was thinking about switching to a micro formula with separate PK for last two weeks before one week of water.

Not a big deal. I just notice plants stay lush all the way thru the end. Need a little N in flowering, just wonder if using its own stored N--might even provide better ripening.

Anyway--cheers.

Hey mate i started a thread asking for everyones opinion on this and got no response from anyone, i dont think people are that confident with n and flowering to tell ppl what to do.

It's is very difficult to cut the N, as lots of products have them in. My CalMag which I use all the grow until flush has 2% N in it. Overdrive has N also, but stops the plants burning out of N in flower. I too use A & B, I dropped it for the last week on Overdrive, and then for a 2 week flush. I did think about using RO water as it seems to strip the plants of nutrients in flush.

grow more has a 0-37-37 Im gonna try for late flower after i get it

I try to taper down as much as possible, but like previously stated its hard to do with most nurtients. Best thing I can do is to flush the hell out of her for 2 weeks.

Indeed. I bought some GH no N cal/mag a few months ago. Use it towards the end and when they get plain water.

I am going to experiment--conservatively. Spoke to soon--the CannaCoco B does have just 1% N. So, will try the No N Cal/mag, Coco B and a little boost.

Yes, RO is good all the way around. My tap water is hard as a rock.

Truu--that is right. Yes, a two week flush ought to get them cannibalizing themselves.

Freedom goes coco :)

And dwc ......and soil lol

What can I say I'm a sucker anyways soil is pretty straight forward to me and is fun and down and dirty getting it done so I got 4 regular autos going there cause I know soil will produce

So recently I picked up the floranova line grow bloom and koolbloom for a dwc system I'm going to play with and thought what the heck I'll try coco too. So I picked up 10 7 gallon viagrow pots and 5 650gr bricks of coco coir I'm probably only going to do 2 pots with coco and they are probably going to be emerald triangle lemon haze regardless I'm trying to decide if I want to use my sea grow 16-16-16 or if I wanna use the floranova line

I got calimagic on the way so I'll need to figure out a good feed schedule for that I'll be handwatering these plants as I don't have the room for a feeding set up

So yeah any beginner tips would be awesome look for my grow log coming up soon once things get more chilly outside

Hi, I'm flushing 1 atm and she's very green. I have RO water, and Canna Flush, and after 3 flushes in the past week she hasn't got any paler at all.
I saw something about not to use RO water with Canna Flush, could anyone tell me why not? I only used it once at at half strenght. She's in an 11ltr square pot and I live in an area that has 410 ppm tap water and a country that fluoridates which I'm pretty suspicious of, so I won't use tap water on her.
She's in a coco-80% perlite 20% mix.

I really suck at growing in soil lmao. :D
