If it was me I'd go with the big dog

Or rocky Mountain super soil they both look like some good blendsblends for mostly water only growing

:Cool bud::Sharing One: Eek and Root! How are you fine folks? ..hope all's well,...miss you guys! This Winter has not treated many of us well, as I'm sure you've gathered, so I'm hoping y'all have just been plain busy!
....Ahhh! I tried the Empire Builder, and it's very nice stuff! Very well constructed,... So is their Victory soil,...the others, :dunno:--look good on paper, but you know more about soils than I do my friend,... did you get to eye-ball them, feel'm up, sniff'm out? HH looks fairly mild, might be the choice for auto's... BD and BBB look rich,..and hopefully, fully cooked! I'd like to see more mineral/micro-nute sourcing in there though,...I do like the multi-sourcing of Ca, Mg, and S in BBB.... "My 2 cents"-worth of desk chair speculation! :smoke:.... damn giants need to get a W in the column too, dammit!..they've been looking flat,...:slaps:

Thanks for stopping in Youz Budz,

I was going with the Big Dog. Most plants this year will be Photo's. But we are gonna gang bust the spring with about ten Frost, and ten Russian dragons (thanks S.), by starting with a few more then that.

I looked over my stock. I have way too many seeds to ever grow. So I am gonna get rid of most of them. I am gonna work with the crosses I have going, use up all the gifted seeds, and probably put the rest into the bird feeder or something. It's not just getting rid of them, but a kind of cleansing of the box. Making sure all I have left are either projects, or Good Stock.

So I will probably use the Big Dog for the photo's, and a layered mix of that, and some Happy Frog for the autos.

You Know Wai, them giants looked flat like you say. BUt last night they showed a lot of excitement and effort. Hopefully they can build on that. But, like the soil, on paper they look fine. On the field, they need to pick things up a bit, JUST to stay competetive.

this is the greenhouse set up. so far, anyways, but we are putting in pallets

New buys
Also gonna get a few bags of Happy Frog

The happy frog will buffer the auto's, and using this organic soil to start.

Root's bathtub. The shiner's we put in there last year have spawned a few times, and from the dozen or so thqt we started with we now have about 30 minnows

Enjoy,

:Cool bud: ...Ooooh, how I wish I was getting my hands nice and dirty like that! I miss growing terribly, truly, but lately it's just not been in the cards,... LOL!- I can only imagine the surplus you've generated over the years :help:-- decisions, decisions..! Have you got a line-up for photo's yet? If you have it, Grape Hash Plant (HR) is worthy! ..think they were freebies last year... Say, aren't seeds pretty tasty when toasted? You know what's funny? I found some kinda hemp seeds in this Japanese chili spice mix some years back!... no mistaking the beans,.. and very crunchy:roflcry: ...***.... Dr. Earth soil is good stuff, ay? Might have to try sometime, if I can find it... How hot would you say it is? Speaking of which, mind the HF acidity brudda! Last year, 2 bags of HF I got were in the low 5's pH :slaps:- had to nail them with hydrated lime, dammit,...FF soils are getting dicey, literally; some get good bags (Trapper has uncanny luck), others not so much... I've eye-balled the Seablast stuff before too,... solid NKP#'s,... How much do you dilute for auto's, Eek? 1/2-ish? .... :brow: Frost and Ruskie's! --growin' close to the Familia this round - LOL! Certainly have your night meds covered,... Stanky little buggers too! ...***... Doggy looks happy (Roxy?)... hopefully she's not drinking out of Root's cast iron pond and getting a little sushi bonus while at it! Watch out--Sniper may "borrow" a few of the minnows for fishing,... :roflcry:
...Yes! G-men finally got a W on the card now... they do seem to stumble out of the gate sometimes,.... must be the Pennant hangover effect! Hopefully, they'll find a groove now and settle in,...

Free seed for birds

Chirp chirp chirp

eek I looked it up a while back minnows start spawning when Temps hit high 50's on a full moon if you add a little fine gravel that will give them a place to make beds

Waira maybe eek and root need a live in gardener :brow:

Waira... the dogs and deer drink out of the bathtub. I expected a frog or lizards...even a snake - but not yet.

Sniper...I have a pump and hope to put a fountain in there this year.
I need something (gravel ?) to lighten up the bottom so we can see the fishies. The tub has been painted a dark brown.
I think there is some bright white rocks at the store here.......

The birds may want the seeds, but I have things I can do with them...

The Cannabis Hemp Seed and it's Uses

And some recipes...

I Love Spring!

Been spending a lot of time outside.
Moved everything around and recovered what need it...both green houses.
Every year we recover our outdoor tent and this year are going with an open design with temporary walls.
The green house we bought last year has to be recovered too. The frame is good but everything is covered with these little plastic squares.

As of today...all the Frost Dragons are above ground and in their permanent home. We are still waiting for 1 Russian Dragon.

There are beets, carrots and red onions in one of the raised boxes.

Tomatoes and three kinds of peppers.

Sunflowers are planted all over the place.
Little bird area outside.

And birds to watch when we are inside.

I am trying to get a picture of our cat sitting on the window sill watching them.

More later...need to get to work.
