New Grower The brewery does it doggystyle

Awesome picture. Looks like the Burlington Northern? I've heard stories about the hemp being hauled in box cars. We used to see some of the hemp along the tracks when we would hop the trains, when we were younger.. I've listened to the trains whistle all my life where I'm from, and love the sound. I find it kinda soothing, actually. I just hate waiting for them..lol
It was the former Chicago & Northwestern, now part of the UP. I too love the sound of the train whistle, especially at night. To me it is a comfort sound. Riding in the engine (head end) we would run at night and that

was a call that working men where coming, no fear we were just coming through.
Do not get me going the those stories. I have told them so many times, my wife just rolls her eyes and says, "please don't start them again."

PM me if you really want to hear a few. I worked 1972 thru 1979.

Update on double grape:

I believe this is around week 3?

198ppm,77°,6.1

We've added a ratio of 1-1-1 with hydroguard, and a tiny bit of calmag and silicablast. We ran out of rapid start so I had to put in an order for it,and it should be here Friday. I honestly think it helps stimulate root growth as this is the 1st time we haven't consistently used it and to me it seems to show a difference so far..
The majority of this week we added just ph'd h20 back.
She hasn't been drinking a ton at this point, as shes starting off hella slow it seems, and her lower leaves dying off but it looks like she's finally coming around, with the newer growth looking pretty good. As long as there's new healthy growth I think she'll be alright. This was kind of how tangie started so we will so if grape takes off. It remains to be seen..

Greetings everyone, it is time for another update in case anyone is still following along..

Here is my chemdoggin update for week 9:

Readings as of last night are: 1240ppm,77°,6.2ph

We are still using a 123 ratio of GH, calmag, liquid kool bloom, and Floralicious. We have already stopped using silica at this stage.

She's building up a good amount of frost and smelling crazy. She maxed out at 23".

Double grape as of last night and as what shows on the calendar for week 4:

330ppm,77°,6.0ph

I must admit I am a bit underwhelmed by her as she turned out to be quite the runt. She has been making some progress finally but I don't think we'll get much from her. We damn near pulled her but decided to put her in the corner to make room for a pineapple express, and west coast o.g. we added to the mix. We will see how she turns out...

Welp, that's all I got this week. I appreciate any and everyone that comes by to check this lil journal out. I'm here to ride these two ladies to the finish line. See ya [emoji111]

I am here and will be until the come and take me away, :)
Some seeds just don't have "it". They try but fall very short. It is kind of you to keep it until it gives up it's ship. Put in the corner and hey a gram or two is nice.

chemdoggin is looking real frosty and snow covered, keep up the good work and thank you for the reports. It only seems like you are out here buoy self, we are all pulling for you both. I'm just sitting here looking at the nice snow flurries we are having. Nice.

Looking awesome man!
:slap:
Don't give up on that double grape. I just chopped one and she is amazing! Frostiest plant I've grown so far.

Thanks man! And thank you for the slap. I'm not giving up on her at this point. Just gonna let her do her thing. Whatever she ends up being is fine. Plus I have 4 more beans to try out in the near future. Damn, yours looks amazing btw.

Glad to still have ya here @Nosias. Yea i agree some just don't turn out the way we think they should. I guess after having a couple pretty successful runs in a row, the bar was raised. So with this one turning out the way it is, there was some disappointment. Couldve been just a weird seed or even some error on my part, but it's all good. [emoji106]

Chemdoggin is definitely frosting quite nicely, and is starting to stink up the place. The scrubber has been officially in effect. I see the snow hit you guys. We were spose to get some coming our way but it missed us. Nonetheless it's still a pretty chilly fall morning, and the coffee tasted good. Fall is probably my favorite time of year. We'll have to bundle up before heading out to any Halloween parties tonight. Happy Halloween everyone, btw.

Agree, you can learn a lot form letting her stay in the play pen with the other girls. Not sure what it will be but you will be a more educated grower for sure.
Thanks, my grow is coming along. I need to post Sunday, to let you see.

Yes, fall is here but it's been great. Started off at 28 and by 10 am it was 51. Now it is 61. Boy oh boy these are fine days here, very fine. We sure missed a lot by living in the South for all of those years, but we are being rewarded for it now.
We just are loving the move. Enjoy the party. we went T or T with friends and their kids and our daughter and grand daughter. It was a great time walling through a retail district and see all of the wee ones all dressed up. We will wait to see the WS game tonight. Go Astros.

Here is my chemdoggin update for week 10:

Readings as of last night are: 1740ppm,77°,5.7ph

Still using the 123 ratio of GH, and adding calmag, liquid kool bloom, and Floralicious.
We've been really pushing her resulting in some slight burn going on. So we just add a gallon of water every other day, or just cut our premix in half, to try and keep things more balanced. We did add a higher ph solution last night to bump up the overall ph a little bit more...

She's really starting to fatten up at this stage, and will probably go under the scope for her first look starting next week. I have a feeling she's gonna be potent.

As for double grape..
she's still hovering around 370, 77°, and maintaining a pH of 6.0.
Shes been staying pretty steady in the readings department. We haven't given up on her but she's been pushed into the corner to make room for the seedlings that just sprouted last week.
The positive I will say that, she's actually grown over the hydroton by now, but it looks like we could flip her to flower anytime we want. We haven't done it quite yet but I feel we will be on the verge of doing so once chemdoggin is close to the finish line.
