Saturday bonus post:
Well, we decided to give a dry trim to her, so we trimmed and plucked the bigger leaves off and hung her up whole. That explains the reason why I don't have a wet weight. I usually wait til after we've done the final trim anyway, to weigh and sort.
We are leaving as much little frosty leaves as we can, and there's a bunch. I will cut her into "v's" sometime tomorrow. The relative humidity is 50%, so if it stays that way, she should be ready to trim in 5-6 days, and then go into jars after that.
Have a great weekend everyone
After hanging for 6 days, she came down and was trimmed up last night. The humidity dipped lower than I wanted which i think will make for a longer cure. I wanted around 50% RH but it dipped down to the high 30's to 40%, which affected the drying process. I suspect the stems didn't dry as fast as the flowers. It should be ok though.. My hygrometer in the jar at the moment only reads 48%. I'll have to leave the jars closed so the RH can creep up to atleast 60-62%, hopefully... the final weight is: 94 grams, respectively.. So more than 3,but no more than 4, as suspected, and I'm pretty satisfied with that. Hope everyone's thanksgiving has been great
Thanks @Nosias. We smoked a little bit. I was already stoned so I couldn't make a fair assessment. As far as I could tell though, it is a nice feeling, but it still needs some time to cure. Unfortunately, the humidity in my jars is only at 49%, so I'm gonna toss some boveda packs in there..Another great job. that is what I do call a harvest you will enjoy. Looks lke the trichomes are tiny diamonds. Pretty pretty.
How does it taste and smoke/vape/I just eat them raw
