I have looked on the forum and online and the threads I found looked a few years old and the website mentioned were very outdated looking. Where is the best place to buy autopots online now? Is it best to buy from the autopots website or is there a better price on a different website on there for it?

I bought mine last fall on the autopot website. Prices there when I bought were actually better than elsewhere because there was a special on. Their stock was better than other sources too as far as I could tell.

Don't buy the double pot setup, there is not enough room for two cannabis plants that close together. The single xl pots with the fabric pots are what I went for, and they worked a treat. You do not need to buy their reservoir, any plastic garbage can will work, and putting a pleated household filter element inside the reservoir will do a far better job at filtering than the standard in line filters for autopots do. I used a 10 gallon beverage cooler that I picked up for a couple bucks in a junk store. It was perfect for my 2x4 grow. Good luck, you will like the system. :goodluck:

Thanks. Do you use the regular tubes that come in the kit on there?

The valve at the reservoir was from a junk store, all brass and higher quality than the autopot equivalent. It may have been intended for the water supply to an ice maker, but it fitted the valve hole in my recycled beverage container perfectly - a stroke of luck that. The initial tube from the valve was a wire wrapped supply hose which screwed onto the valve, also from the junk store. It would normally be used for attaching a toilet or other plumbing to a wall tap. That hose was joined to the standard autopot ~1/4" tubing inside the growdrobe. From there it was all autopot fittings, with no further filtration.

I do like the junk stores...

Thanks. I have read that there are people that recommend doing the 1/2 tubing instead of the 1/4 that is in the kit on there. I wonder if it makes that big of a difference though I am thinking of using something like drip clean or hydro guard on there.

Here is the USA online vender I have always used. They are/were 10% lower than AutoPots USA. They carry a huge inventory

Yes I run a 1/2 inch from res to auto pot. At the end there is an adapter for the 1/4 line to link autovalave. That small line gets clogged. You need to check it out every now and then. Much easier when it's just a foot or so.

Nope I just blow it out with like a straw. Then run water through it. It's only 1-2ft the 1/2 line runs most the way to the pot. It doesn't clog often but if you should clean it before each grow and the 1/2 in. The crap that cakes on the side of the 1/2 is most often the cause of the clog. The clog I find in the adapter, 1/4 hose, or aquavalve itself.
