Few working on it   :pass::drunks:

Happy growing y'all

If I go on a trip to an amusement park I have to leave before the light dep tarp would be removed so I have to move tonight’s dark period forward to reflect natural sunrise time. Question is should I go with sunrise, or first light? I was thinking going first light as even if the plant doesn’t notice until sunrise atleast the dark would have been more than 12hrs rather than risk it being less then. Does this sound like I’m really high?

Here’s to hoping a nice family trip doesn’t cause the remaining ladies to herm. Any opinions on what to do appreciated
I’ll also add that when I return at night I won’t be able to apply the tarp until it’s already dark so I will have to remove it the following day according to sunset or last light. Not ideal I know but I have no friends

Pretty sure I understand what you're doing and what's your question is.

I would tarp in the morning time early morning and then just before you leave to go on your little trip untarp it until next time. Rather that be in the morning or in the evening time the next day.

Since you're not going to be home until dark anyways. Tarping at night would make no sense, it doesn't matter.
Also if you was leave it tarped all night long it would just build up moisture and cause mold and mildew.

The plants can be in the light up to 14 hours a day. " but not for an extended period of time just once in a blue moon".

Most plants don't trigger the other direction (re-veg) until you're around 14.5 hours or longer then they want to re-veg or if you're going for flower from veg. Capiche?

Note: Not all plant strains are the same. Some take longer to trigger some less, but they're abouts is the magic number 14 -14.5 hours trigger time.
It's always best to know your plants that you're working with when you're doing experimental stuff that you've never done before, study, study, study, your plant strains and know what you're working with...

My safety points always been 13 to 13.5 hours of light.

When I did light depth I did 11/13 11 hours dark 13 hours light.
The extra hour of light helped out with larger buds I believe..

Once in a blue moon it's okay to go beyond that. Plants don't seem to mind too much, but anything long-term 2 or 3 Days you're going to have trouble with re-veg...

Oh My! Too funny The Cherry apple ftitter is over 5 feet tall and I'm giving it the test :haha:
I put a couple of drops of hydrogen peroxide in the test cup and a little more RO water in for evaporation. It looks lively
@Rasterman . and All

Yeah, she's beautiful!

@Waira update on the outdoor comp girls. I just got back from an amazing vacation with my family to Myrtle Beach SC and things have blown up out in the garden over the past week.
The autos are looking great!
Root Beer Float S3 is really picking up its growth rate as flowering is kicking in. I'm very happy I kept this one around despite it having a rough start from animal and insect attacks.

Root Beer Float F4 is trying like crazy to catch up to her older cousin

Kush Kush F3 looks great. Very easy grow so far.

Devils Lettuce S1 photo is really impressing me with its outdoor vigor. I have a few more days left on my vacation from work and I'm hoping to get a frame built around her so I can trellis it up.

Speed Racer S1 was having some deficiencies for a little bit at the beginning of the season and went through a bit of a reveg but is now back on track and growing strong. I'm looking forward to having some more of this super energetic and uplifting flower!

Skunk Hero F1 really putting on the growth. This cultivar has some stretch during preflower so I'm hoping to see a monster tree come fall out of this girl.

Everything is really looking great out in the garden for how little rain fall we have had. I have quite a bit of testing going on this season outdoors trying to gather up some good outdoor information on some of the cultivars I'm playing with. It should be a very flavorful fall this year which is exciting...
The Crazy Kush that I replaced earlier this summer has finally snapped out of the premature flowering and is starting to pick up some size in full veg mode. I pretty much stripped all of the early flowering buds off so it can veg a little better and this plant is extremely loud! A very smelly even blend of the parents Sweet Seeds Green Poison FV and Dinafem Quick Kush that complement each other's aroma in a bliss of dankness! I'm not expecting this one to get much size but it does usually get a good stretch during preflower so I may get a pleasant surprise later this season... Don't mind the awesome pink flamingo wind chimes lol I use them in the garden to spook off unwanted critters.

HOT Muggy... ugh and sticky to us... But The plants are loving it :hump: :growing:just now. Temp's have been in the upper 80s and lower 90s the last 5 days. The RH has been low very low 34% to 70% on the high end.

The weather girl is calling for more rain today and humidity is to reach 80% so nice for the girls.
IMG_20230702_064211607.jpg

it rain yesterday lite showers all afternoon. But still only have collected a little under 3/4 of my large holding tank or about 200 gallons total now since our first rain in 50 some days. I still have 3 other 55 gallon barrels that are all about 1/2 full.
Maybe with the rain today I'll see the big tank top it off. :joy:
