Completed The 2023 Outdoor Auto-Photo Competition!

man, at this point, to hell with producing anything, i jus want the fuckerz to GROW, period :wall:   ppp
Let that soil dry right out if you are not doing that. Make the roots reach for the food just a thought. They all sprouted and then stalled I am thinking an environmental problem 🤔. Wet or a tad cold.

Trying my hand at a true outdoor plant as I installed a bit of fencing and used my dog run to section off a portion of my yard and have added locks. So now my dog run has a pot plant. Not the sunniest spot of the yard but it’s legal(also will be setting up a 2ft fence within to keep the dog away). This is a clone I made off of the Twenty 20 Smell of Success I am running in the greenhouse. I wanted to see her performance under natural light and not light Dep as she is supposed to finish late September/early Oct. Hope 2cuft of compost isn’t too hot for her

I like it when you can do that type of comparison. Need to weigh the dry yield and see which performed better for a particular strain. I tend to grow a lot of autos both indoors and out to see how much variation I find in yield and overall.

Light Dep is a damn hassle but I have committed so I shall follow through. It will be easier once I can see the nugs building. Preflowers are starting to show up, Smell of Success has shown the biggest reaction and is tightening those nodes on the tops and shooting pistils faster than the rest. Next week I think we will be looking more like a flowering plant. I added some net above them

Looking real good.:headbang::thumbsup::vibe: Yep you got your work cut out for you.

You've put a ring on it.

Yup... I've been doing light depth for years.
I quit right after this state went recreational in 2019

I was running two crops in a Michigan spring/summer season. I figured out how to run three. It's really like a job then.
I used supplemental lighting to make up the difference for the lack of sunlight as I would put in around 420 with large plants that I started around Christmas. Then the fun to be married to it all the way until August, a break 3w then harvest again.
Harvesting in late June with the first crop early July.
I used LP heaters to warm the cage up also kept large barrels of water in the grow in April n May. The barrels were like radiant heaters. Along with the two or three LP heaters I could get the temperatures up around 65f when the temperature outside was in the teens.

I never did automate. but I did install a cable on pulleys system so I could pull my tarp up and over the top from a one location which made it pretty easy button. I could tarp n secure it by myself in about 8 to 12 minutes. And I only had one arm at the time. As long as the wind wasn't blowing too hard it was always pretty easy.

Also to cut down on trapped moisture under the tarp. I only tarp it for 2 or 3 hours in the evening or morning time depending on the time of the year and also if I was going away or if it was going to rain or be high humidity.. I kind of had it figured out to a science after a while. So then I never had an excess of moisture build up to speak of really Just pull the tarp right back off again as soon as the sun went down or if in the morning just leave it up to within 12 hours of daylight left. The plants didn't care. I also use tower fans a couple of summer's cuz the moisture of the high humidity here Mi some years :help:99% ugh

Some pics of the last year I did a 2 run summer w/ light depth. Both harvest's July 19 n October.

Large harvest for me that year each one was over 25 lbs of AAA flower finished product.

:baked:

@Waira Photoperiod Update
Day 1 on the twenty20mendo Humbolt Afghani
Cracked two and one made it. Damn one pot had some weirdness in the soil and killed three sprouts. So off to the soil heap it will go. Got a late start but weather finally got right this week. A month or more behind schedule.

The Autos are rocking it and already did their weekly photo update. That OG x Chem has some huge fans and is slow to flower so I think I got a monster in the making!

The Honey Badger is straight up throwing those purps and honey colored pistils.

304 is gonna be great and a little longer cycle! What is there I can say about @FullDuplex other than great things!

Zen photo of the day from the flower garden

I grew a bunch of 'those flowers' a few years ago. I got some nice meds that lasted for quite a while.

I want to see that TWauto rock, and the CBD Haze... that one is a gem, you're going to love her effects...

Auto TW has got some serious immobile nutrient issues happening. I'm either going to foliar spray with some highly diluted (80-1) fish fertilizer, or give her a feeding with MC. Am leaning more towards the MC just to get pull out of it, then back to 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 for her. She really got stunted from her first 10 days or so outdoors in the cool weather, then the sun came out and the deficiency showed up on all the new growth. Same organic medium as a couple other plants that are doing great. Feel bad for her as I know she can perform to a much higher standard.
So  Your thoughts? EDIT: fed her MC @500ppm ... still want to here your thoughts brother

It looks like Manganese or zinc deficiency.

Do you check PH when you water? (I don't, but the linked article mentioned that.) Sorry, I'm pretty clueless when it comes to PPMs.
