Couple plants getting hammered by leafhoppers but moving along. Some showing sex at this point. Anybody know how long until pollen sacks open up? I'm trying to move a male inside and let it finish in some water to collect the pollen

It will usually be a couple of weeks (2-3) after you notice sex on the plant before you have to worry about the pollen sacks opening up. This is obviously strain dependent. The pods will usually swell and start to droop or hang like a banana before they pop open.

@Waira update on the outdoor comp autos.
The RBF has seemed to have fully recovered and is picking up steam with veg. It just yesterday started to pop some pistols. I don't usually give up on many plants as things usually iron out and make the struggles worth wile and I have a good feeling this RBF will reward me for my patience!

Kush Kush F3 auto is a beast. I am very happy and it also just started to preflower which this strain usually doubles to triples in size so she should be a nice one. I don't think I'm going to do any LST but we shall see if my ocds will allow that lol.

Last up the other RBF I need to still make an entry card for but it's also getting her feet under her and taking off.

@Waira update on the photoperiods. Things seem to be just trucking along with these girls not much exciting going on as of yet. The Crazy Kush i removed from comp has finally transitioned back into veg and is getting a bit more size to it.
Devils Lettuce S1 looking amazing. Super strong growth so far.

non comp cream Cheeze F1 FV photoperiod phenotype hitting beast mode.

Devils Lettuce S1 I'm hoping to get a frame built here soon for this girl as I'm positive she will need some support come fall.

Skunk Hero F1 never really acted like it was flowering before but is growing very vigorous and throwing out 1,2,and 3 fingered leafs which looks like it'd doing some sort of a re veg still powering forward however... hmmmm.

Speed Racer S1 has had a few deficiencies but is trucking ahead with veg.

I got some of the trellis netting put up yesterday. I haven't had as much time to spend in the garden this year as I'm still trying to get the house finished up but things seem to be doing well despite my absence out in the garden this year. I need to get out and lollipop and defoliate here soon.

One of the outdoor testing plants I popped about 3 weeks ago. Grandpa's Exodus F1 has been coming on strong out in the greenhouse! I need to get out and feed the plants they have pretty much been on water only so far this outdoor run.

I've decided to enter. I'm entering a Mephisto 50 Shades of Grape (thanks @Arkvader13!). It was planted on the 14th and placed outside the moment it sprouted, so I'm not really following the Mephisto grow guide. However it's doing okay so far.

I'm actually trying to work out the earliest I can plant autos outside. It's my third summer growing outside and the first two weren't special.

She was planted in a five gallon pot just recently vacated by an Auto AK Triple Haze that started inside and finished outside. I don't know how many times this soil has been reused - it's a mix of Buildasoil, cheap outdoor potting soil and locally-procured inputs.

I'll attempt to make a living soil grow but will add other inputs as needed.
