Completed The 2021 Outdoor Auto/Photo Competition!

Waira

Well, the little Asian Haze is chopped, lightly trimmed, washed, hanging up and getting blown by an oscillating fan for a few hours.
I'll take a few prime buds, trim them nicely and dry them. The rest will get bagged up and in the freezer for hash. That should be some killer hash!

Dirty buckets! I flung out crap many times! Most of what I got off the girls was dead pistils. Could it be the removal of the dead pistils be the reason people say washed buds taste smoother?

Strung up fer a few hours.

I'm really surprised how pretty and green the turned out!

The Northern Lights in the bucket is looking great on this end and will be my entry. @Waira I have grown Northern Lights before indoors and she was as easy going as this one to grow no bitching at all
:greenthumb:A good NL is a solid choice as always GH, one reason it's recommended for noob's as well! I hope i can run one next year, I have SeedStockers NL5 x NL2 cross, and another from a small breeder gifted to me recently, which I need to do homework on... his gig is fast tough climate short season photo's, so if this is from a worked line, I'll bet it's special indeed!
Your girl looks fantastic and very well loaded up :spels:... what's her aroma like? A lot of diversity in this lineage...
Some of the flowers going on the OD girls this year! I can't wait to get to token on this haul!
:drool: checking all the boxes Jean-O! ... I've only had a couple girls with colored hair dye jobs :biggrin:
About 5 more week's to go.:shooty::woohoo1::woohoo:to finish. :toke::pass:

The small attachment is the cage grow must've got it in there accidentally
pheeew! :whew: those storms can be crop-fuckers for sure, glad nothing harsh happened.... :d5:
The cage jungle is cray-cray dude- :rofl:... looks like you can hardly get in there to water!

Well, it's chop time for the smaller Asian Haze at daybreak!
She's gonna make some nice dry-ice hash and then tasty rosin.
:woohoo1::woohoo::cooldance: first girl in, and she's a good'un! ....Wow, thorough wash technique Bill, a lot of work but worth it :thumbsup:... pretty sure I'm going to blow my damn rotator cuffs out this year- :rofl:.... I grip at the stem base and do fast pendulum swings to fling excess water off them, you just have to be careful not to start/stop fast and cause a lot of thrashing, that's what busts up the trich's...
I'm not sure why you lost so many pistils, maybe your washing motions are too aggressive in motions? that or they are just loose on this plant :shrug:
How was the aroma at harvest?

Waira
She had an abundance of dead pistols that were loose. That's kinda the reason I took her. The couple areas where I found rot, there was a lot of dead loose pistols kinda clumped together. I haven't seen that before. The buds ere markedly cleaner after the wash and it was a gentle swishing motion I used.
Her smell is something I just can't pick out any specific smell. Maybe in a few days when I process the buds the smells will be more identifiable.

The big girl should finish before Oct. I get that from the way from the way her colas are developing with the marked difference in the amount of leaves in those formations. No idea if that's from pheno difference or grow method. I'm getting the impression that the buds will be a bit more organized. The cola formation is definitely different than the smaller one. This pheno may be more the intended outcome of the breeding.
Cool mornings are happening. Low this morning should be around 60*F

I am surrounded by pine trees so I am familiar with the smell albeit a touch of nose blindness to them. She smells to me like a piney lemon mix.
Thank's for the intel on the seed stockers NL and would enjoy a peek at that grow :toke:

Yeah, You can see some of my pines in my pics. Outdoors, certain smells have to be very strong to be able to be detected.

@Waira

Weekly update photoz. Sun was shining yesterday morning, so took some pictures.

Environment is tough from here on out. HItting the dew point most every night. Day temps in the 60's and nights in the 40's. Gh isn't getting much direct sunlight as the seasons change.

EBB x CS is ok. I check daily for health and so far, so good.
