Mmmm, who dat Mason? I love me some chunky nose cone buds, lovely color too!
All the Fire OG kush's are doing well and are in full bud. I've trimmed them all back final trimming. And mostly done manipulating them. There's always some manipulation to do between now and harvest but for the most part but major manipulation is done.
Fed all the girls and nice T of Mother Earth Juice bloom, phytoplankton t Alaskan fish fertilizer, bag of dark brown sugar, and Bud swell. 3 days ago.
Have been fighting with the p.m. this year. It's usual for my garden. I've been using one tablespoon of food grade potassium bicarbonate to one gallon of water. It's been washing it off pretty well and I can use this every other day if I need to right up to harvest. This is why I haven't been doing too much of the foliar spraying this year with probiotic fungal teas. It makes no sense to if I have to spray for the p.m. all the time. So the only way to beat it is to give them tea at the root feeding. But I don't think this to be as effective as foliar spraying. In the past I've always done both and I've had moderately excellent success. This year I took a different approach and we'll find out what the outcome of these buds are.
Haven't seen any pest infestations on any plants. I've had a good year for pests. Not having them. I've used Pro crop one earlier this year and plant therapy earlier this year.
GTG, I sorry you fell through the cracks on the Phyter testing -
... you were one of the perfect candidates... If you're still interested in trying next season, I'm sure Phyter Bryon would be happy to hook you up!
At least you have a solid MO for dealing with this, and the heavy pruning has opened things up for much better air flow....
The girls all look great, this final tune-up has them primed and ready for business!
.... caught up at your thread mate-
... looks like a lot of us will be grinding well into Fall!
... collective fingers crossed for nice finishing weather for us all
@Waira update on the OD girls! Look at the BUDS!!!!!!! I can now officially smell the garden from my house which is over 100 yards away from the garden! Banana Daddy smells like dirty socks mixed with rotten Banana and a bit of the Bubba Kush Smell which to me smells like a pharmacy (like vitamins) Lilac Diesel has an increasing smell of Linen which is amazing! Big Detroit Energy now is smelling of fermenting fruit mixed with some sour Body Odor kinda like a person who drank a shit ton of cheap whiskey! All of the Ethos girls have terps like I have never encountered before all very interesting! The Banana Daddy is getting very purple in the calyx's looks like it should be a sold purple flower when finished and the Lilac Diesel and BDE both have some Magenta pistols which is very cool! I'm super excited for harvest this year for sure!!! Things are still on point though the Lilac Diesel is really starting to cannabalize itself a bit early but should still be all good Ive been feeding them twice a week with tons of nutrients its amazing how much you can throw at these things when they are in the ground.
.... looking outstanding Jean! And it's nice to see somebody at least whose girls are on proper schedule....
Your aroma's are making me super jeallie! ...Good to hear BD is showing banana terps along with some funk. Lilac's perfume has me very interested, another good sign of quality breeding from Ethos... BDE, now that's a classic combo-- rotten fruit and BO!
The finish will be a spectacular show, really looking forward to that
If you can snag some pics of the colored pistils, do so! See how they progress as they ripen, your live Poll shot need not be of preharvest bud, it can be a sheer beauty shot instead -
..... more catch up later mates, gotta run,....
