Completed The 2021 Outdoor Auto/Photo Competition!

Doesn't using very dry material increase the amount of plant matter in your dry ice hash? Trim with at least some moisture in it and frozen I would think would crumble less.
I'm really liking doing fresh frozen with dry ice. The quality of hash is great, I think the return is good and with this last run I fast dried the worked material from the dry ice, decarbed it and then infused it in coconut oil. LOL! I turned out pretty damn powerful. I got some goodness from what was going to be worm food.

That’s what I thought using ground up material also... but I find dryice hash does that anyway[CHAT=][/CHAT] wtf is that? Where’d that come from? Chat chat?
I chop my buds up with big scissors. It helps the buds bust up. I've had hard buds not bust up well.

Chop into popcorn or like for a joint?
I’m thinking not chopping for a run to get straight goods not plant matter. Then maybe chopping a bit and giving another run

But does it really need to dry in order to separate the trichomes?
I was thinking like what pop said somewhatdry but not fully, may just hang not Curr’e... soon I’ll just do some science lol

And bill you go straight to frozen?

Yeah, I trim up the buds, bag 'em and put them in the freezer. That's why cut my buds up just before I work them.

edit..........I don't pack the bags.........anymore:biggrin:

By short of crumbly I mean it's still pliable, just barely, but can't really be be crushed up by your fingers...
That’s what I thought, using ground up material also. Which is why I was thinking whole jug has run lol... but I find dryice hash does that anyway with the plant material, always greenish [CHAT=][/CHAT] wtf is that? Where’d that come from? Chat chat?
If you get greens, you're over processing....it's a fine line indeed though, and i find it's smart to pause & peek toward the end to see how things look. No set shaking time works best with all...
Nothing green in here :smoking:...

Another update.

@Waira

All the Fire OG kush's are doing well and are in full bud. I've trimmed them all back final trimming. And mostly done manipulating them. There's always some manipulation to do between now and harvest but for the most part but major manipulation is done.
Fed all the girls and nice T of Mother Earth Juice bloom, phytoplankton t Alaskan fish fertilizer, bag of dark brown sugar, and Bud swell. 3 days ago.
Have been fighting with the p.m. this year. It's usual for my garden. I've been using one tablespoon of food grade potassium bicarbonate to one gallon of water. It's been washing it off pretty well and I can use this every other day if I need to right up to harvest. This is why I haven't been doing too much of the foliar spraying this year with probiotic fungal teas. It makes no sense to if I have to spray for the p.m. all the time. So the only way to beat it is to give them tea at the root feeding. But I don't think this to be as effective as foliar spraying. In the past I've always done both and I've had moderately excellent success. This year I took a different approach and we'll find out what the outcome of these buds are.
Haven't seen any pest infestations on any plants. I've had a good year for pests. Not having them. I've used Pro crop one earlier this year and plant therapy earlier this year.

With out further ado
