I could tell he was fascinated with the autos, he had the look of “how the hell you got bud already”
That and he’s probably never seen an orgy pot up close lmao

Damn POS armadillo got into my Asaian Haze EarthBox last night!
:grrr2::grrr2::grrr2:
I don't think it did much damage to the root system, though.

Times are changing!
Saw and heard a flock of migrating geese coming down before the cold front.
Next Tuesday and Wednesday are the next two days with chances of rain
and no more 90*F+ temps after Tuesday is seen in the forecast.
Buds are sure filling in, frosting up, getting super sticky and really starting to STINK.
Smell is a sweet citrus/grape with some other underlying funk that I can't pick out.
It's a very nice and pleasant smell.
She got her last top dressing slurry.
Her last feeding was a pretty good one to help finish her off in fine fashion.
Brewed compost tea with EWC, a little fine ground kelp and alfalfa and molasses.
Last 3 hrs Recharge was added.
A little of that tea was added to a blender with freshly sprouted two-row barley and blended carefully not to heat it up and then added to the tea bucket. I added my FFJ, humic acid and a little Blue Gold for flower to the bucket.
All of this was stirred up and then strained. The strained material was added to a bucket of compost. I added enough of the compost tea to make a fairly wet slurry. I check the moisture of the top of the Earthbox to determine the wetness of the slurry.
This slurry is my way of using liquid KNF amendments and compost tea without getting nutes into the rez. I treat the roots in the rez and the roots in the media as two separate systems and I really think that's basically how the plant is doing it herself. I think the rez roots are mainly uptaking water and the media roots are mainly uptaking nutrients.

Anyway......Asian Haze!

update green hornet 9-15
I get the high wind plant protection problem. The bucket is cracked from winds while anchored by blocks. She is smelling Mighty Fine. She has fell over a lot when not using blocks. Happy Farming :d5:

I seen some in a rubble pile down the road and said this is what I need.. and sure enough this is exactly what I envisioned.
I’m going to ask if I can snag em lol

Beautiful plant btw

I have my cage anchored by some simple rebar bent up if ya need some more.

The gals do have a beautiful view, but with it comes lots and lots of wind. We have been through some rough patches: hurricanes Elsa (July), Fred (August), Henri (August) and Ida (September). I carry the pots inside for each of these, but I can't predict the frequent gusts. If I let the pots dry even just a little, then all it takes is a 20-25 MPH gust to send them over. Once, I had them up on the stone wall, and wouldn't you know, winds from FRED hit me from behind and sent the plants over the wall and down 6 feet to the level below. I amazed at how well they've handled it. But next year I'm going to need lots more duct tape. Here's a peak at what I saw when I looked out my window yesterday:
:yoinks: holy crap the Easter basket! You better get life insurance for those stunt plants Sky .. they apparently know how to fall and land JuJitsu-style since they aren't a bundle of broken sticks!
I get it though, I've had some gusts catch the plants like a damn sail and haul them over, never a happy sight! :nono: ...I'm super happy your grow wasn't ruined my man-
Tricks I've seen used: larger heavy clay/ceramic pot to set them in; one guy dropped some low set posts with a secured 2x4 crossbar to lay over the pot tops like one of those dubious "safety bars" on a sketchy Fair ride
....another recessed the pots into the ground,...and I've seen folks make cinder block cages around the pots. I'm sure you'll have a solution next year!

update for OD girls. Pics are from a few days ago n I just had another bad storm last night the girls looked ok this morning before work but it was dark n I didn't have time to get in the grow. They are beat up for sure. I need a few more weeks for the ethos girls to finish up but weather is turning nasty on me. Fingers crossed I can get them to the End End!

:dang: shit, more nasty weather troubles! At least you have them caged and trellised Jean, or they may be just a wadded pile of busted branches and battered bud! Hopefully the damage is mostly cosmetic, maybe some chewed up places along where the trellis lines were chafing...
Fingers crossed for good news after you get a chance to inspect better! :goodluck:

Frizzy is DENSE

 she's your huckleberry Mo'! ....A DP/SeedStocker cross right?

Your neighbor is on a roll too :peek: :haha:... some tasty bits peekin' over the fence there! Are you friendly with them? Find out what cross she is, that's good info to know for your conditions, pending her not rotting out late in the game....

:cuss:mugger fekkin' varmint! ...after worms I figure... Sooo glad the girl isn't FUBAR my friend, I'da died right next to you!
Especially with that aroma ... grapey notes, most unexpected! ...aaaaaalmost there man, just a little longer...:coffee:

I'm looking at the ChemDSDHz, a lot of whities and not-yet blown up florets and calyxes... she seems stalled somehow? Some of the inner buds at nodes, the earliest to show frost, they are taking on a golden hue which alarms me! I'ma scope that shizzle tomorrow, this is ridiculous... I'd like to know more about the parent photo, particularly her cycle and bloom times... This semi-auto is anything but fast - Plus something is not all happy in her pot-world I'm thinking,... She should be done by now, or within a week, but her looks tell me another story....
Garlicane is the one smoking her tires right now, she may actually be done by months end! Go figure....:rolleyes2:
