Indoor TGG 2.0 - Indoor Coco/Growstone 4 strain grow

First things first = Pics

Think Differents - This strain is just kicking my ass. As you can see it looks like that one is starting to show signs of mag def. Which is crazy because I use it with each watering IMG_0601.JPG IMG_0602.JPG . This is one strain I will need to try again, when I can devote an whole grow to just them.

Here is a couple shots of the Red Poison and BBK .. one issue I am starting to run into is lack of headspace.IMG_0604.JPG IMG_0605.JPG

I took a few more pics but honestly so blurry, just not worth posting up.

The drip system is almost like autopilot at times. But I have been learning from this build. One is that my tent is woefully lacking in space. So looking at building a grow cabinet (bonus is it doesnt need to be stealthy at all). And then building a revised drip system to address issues I have come up against.

The Kelp4less stuff has been working very well so far, any lack is from my own failures from what I can see. Be careful with the Extreme blend when adding it to Res, it has a npk of 12-0-6. I will probably be switching on the next run to their straight hydro Grow and Bloom
just to see how much of a difference there is between the two.

In Peace,
TGG

Looking good man, i read mag can get locked out easily in coco/hydro for some people anywhere below ph 6. You could try creeping the ph up slightly(6.2 max)for the next couple waterings and see if it helps

@ Sanguine ooh thanks for that catch, I will begin that with next res change. Which as luck would have it should be today with a switch from Grow to Bloom for the BBK and RP.
I honestly have to say so far that TD feels a little like my Elenore.

You seem to be liking the Kelp4Less dry powdered nutes TGG.Im thinking of using them in my drip system to go more organic
when my present nutes run out. They should work out a lot cheaper in the long run.
I will make sure i check on your grow regular to see how they perform for you.
Good luck mate.

@redrobbo I am liking the nuts, but if your looking to go more organic, is there a reason your not using something like TLO with a water drip? I did a basic supersoil this summer for my outdoor and it really easy growing. I am actually trying to decide if I am going to go back to organic soil or switch to DWC after this run.

Ive never grown canna in soil, always coco.I feed my plants sometimes 8 times a day, which coco allows me to do,i believe i would overwater in soil.I do precharge my coco with worm castings, alfalfa and kelp meal and let it cook for 30 days at least.
Gets seedlings off to a great start.I would just like to go more organic for taste, without using soil.

Sorry for being so quiet, grow journal not dead, just been really really busy helping some friends bring in a large commercial harvest.

Let see, right now the RP and BBK are looking like their are having some issues, will get some pictures up later. The TDs are a total wash .. the 2 that did sprout stunted so horribly that I decided I wasnt going to put the energy into trying to take them to finish, just to much going on.

But the BBK and RP are in full flower, still not packing on the weight but lots of good sites.

@redrobbo I am leaning more and more towards just going back to organic soil growing for the time being. The knowledge translates to helping in other areas of the farm, besides I need something to do with all this composted manure I have stockpiling.

Ok Week 8 has begun .. picture updates!

So as you can see they are struggling a little, as I fight the wonder and joys of things like Res Temps, odd slimes and other fun stuff. Really looking forward to the end of this grow. I am already working out the details of the next grow, which will be soil based, and at this time Ill only be using 2 of the K4L products for that one.

But for the time being I am just trying to get these to ladies across the finish line. Next week is last res change with nuts .. so the finish line is starting to creep up.

Hope everyone is having an amazing fall, great harvests and happy holidays!

In Peace,
TheGreenGnostic

@redrobbo hey have you checked out buildasoil.com for some organic additives? Im actually going to be getting next batch of oyster shell flour and gypsum from them. They have some interesting stuff, and pretty decent prices.
