LST WOES :(
So looks like the comparison isn’t going to go to well just snapped the most developed side branch on my Colorado cookies clean off lost maybe 1:4 of the plant plus potentially stunting her mehh, it happens
might as well try water rooting it. some have success!

Yeah I got her in a cup but she already droopey and dead I doubt she will bounce back, tents looking healthy though if I can average 2zips a plant I’ll be satisfied

You cut off most of the leaves?. It will be droopy for a day or two

Welcome to the group! I’m subbed in for the grow. Good luck!

Also, cut the stem end at a 45 degree angle with a razor blade to maximize surface area for water uptake. Cutting all leaves but a cpl and the growing tip will help greatly. Lastly, clonex gel does wonders if you have it.

Thanks guys feel to change the grow title to domestic abuse lol, i just snapped the main stem on one of my cookies as she going into flower I put some soft tie to act as a stint she hasn’t dropped yet hoping she will recover. But yeah I been beating my girls up hopefully I don’t break them and they turn out to be strong heavy handed females. But yeah stick around I’ll post weekly updates, should be hitting the first girls with a flush tomorrow but I’m going to leave the cookies out to heal (no clonex or honey to seal and I don’t want to tape because she is flowering so I’m just going to cross my fingers)

It happens. If you are quick to get it patched up, should recover ok. Parrafin tape will also help. If nothing else a lil scotch tape can work in a pinch. But beware of “duct” tape and the like. String can also work in a pinch. Hope she recovers, your plants look nice. Good luck!

Quick update: girls are at week 4 & 3. Week 4 girls had a flush yesterday to remove salt build up and a small dose of bloom. (Had another split down the node joint on the main stem she had already been topped so it was a pretty fat knuckle and the blue dream took it on the chin without any complaints. also the cookies main stem I completely snapped didnt drop at all so thankfully managed save that one) week 3 girls are looking good the AVT grows big and is super friendly when it comes to LST although blue dream seems to be the perkyest I don’t think I have seen her except her leaves are pointing up with a enthusiastic smile. Next week I’ll take individual photos so you can see the plants up close. P.S flushing is a killlllllleer I had to run 40L through each bucket while bending over my bath tub filling and pouring a 5L jug

Ok I’ll be posting a update later, but i have myself a catch 22! The plants are flowering now and the humidity is way to high average around 70-73% so i use my dehumidifier that gets it down to 40-45% but that raises the temps to the point the plants are limping and getting heat stress, 30-31c can’t seem to find a middle ground. Can’t improve ventilation anymore.. hmm going to have a defoliation next Friday but I doubt that will solve my problem.
